Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Hey at least you got an update. I think most people here would be happy with just that. I know I would.
I was all set to buy the iPhone 7Plus 32GB from Verizon. I have an account with them...for years. With a 2 year contract the phone would cost $319 which I could pay off in the 24 months. However my access fee would increase by $20 a month which totals $480 over the 2 year period. So in reality I'd be paying full price for the phone.
My question is: am I misunderstanding something? Why does my access fee have to go up $20 a month just for the new phone? I have the iPhone 4s now.
An FYI for this thread: The delivery date would be October 19th if I ordered it today. I'm in the USA.

How do you think they give you the phone for $319...? They aren't just going to eat the difference.
Pittsburgh here... no movement on my 7+ 128gb matte black. Sept. 23-30 ship dates. The one day off I have and no miracles 
Rose Gold iPhone 7 128GB, ordered 09/09/2016 at 3:24:12 a.m. ET. Live in Ohio. Delivery By Date said 9/16 up until when I received this email. Now it just says shipped 9/16. I went back and forth with AT&T the last couple days because they assured me it was shipping yesterday and delivering today, even though it still said preparing to ship, my credit card hadn't been charged, and the item status changed this morning to say it was backordered.
My Jet Black 7 Plus 256GB still says it's preparing to ship 9/30 to 10/7.
I've been obsessively checking this thread since Saturday. I decided to sign up a for an account today to update everyone on my shipping.

Has anyone one who ordered a 7+ matte black 256gb who had a ship date of 9/23-9/30 get theirs today?
Probably based on your plan. AT&T's old plan charged more per line if The phone was on an installment plan. Their new plans don't. You should call Verizon and discuss as they probably have a plan that wouldn't do that.
Yeah I kept getting can't connect to iTunes error when I was trying to download apps. It's working now...for me at least. I rebooted my phone and it was working. Try rebooting.
I feel the same way.. My access fee is only $15 a month but if I change my plan to the lower rates for more gb of data that they off my access fee goes up to $20 its a standard fee that they charge now for every new device to have service on your plan.
Starting to feel like the 7+ Jet Black 256gb is a unicorn. Has anyone received one?
So according to Flight Aware, I see that there are 3 flights that are scheduled to take off soon. ATT usually delivers via FedEX, but since they are coming from Anchorage to Louisville via UPS, is there a chance they could handoff between UPS and FedEX? And possibly have some of our phones? I am just surprised at how little movement I have seen on this thread. I have been using MacRumors since the 6 Plus (ordered via ATT) and the 6S Plus (ordered via Apple) and do not remember seeing such little movement on release day. I would have ordered from Apple like I did last year, but the ATT site loaded faster and I wanted to get my order placed as quickly as possible. So I got my order through at 3:04am ET for my 256GB Jet Black 7 Plus. Ordered through Apple about 30 minutes later, but cancelled that order when I saw a much further shipping date, but I bet I would have gotten it sooner than the ATT order...

Very strange. It says mine was "picked" on the 15th. Which doesn't make sense because it was shipped on the 14th.
