Yup Apple pandering to the IUP people since they sued.

It's just sickening now honestly. You had people who ALREADY BOUGHT the phones a 12/3am getting bumped for the crybabies to get stock. The ones who had NOTHING reserved come the 9th afternoon

I guess if we sue Apple too we will get our ATT orders shipped. Cant hurt it appears!

I could see Apple pulling stock from their stores, pretty sure this is why they weren't available for walk-ins. However, I highly doubt they pulled stock from carriers to distribute them to iPhone every year people. This probably would've broken some deals and they would've gotten in much more trouble with the carriers than they would've with people not being able to get the phone they wanted.

I could be wrong, you could be right, but it only makes sense to me. I don't think there's ever been a year where all phones (well in the case, the +) weren't available at Apple stores.

People cannot be mad at Apple for not having enough devices so everyone is could have one on launch day. Apple clearly said that it would be controlled by supply, not demand this time around.
I don't know how you could be any more clear.

Now people getting their devices that pre-ordered later, that's a different story.

I don't think I've seen one person who ordered the MB Plus get a date earlier than 9/23-9/30. My guess is that the carriers are expecting a big shipment of these to fulfill preorders starting on the 23rd, which is 2 weeks after preorders started. From my memory, typically Apple releases their devices 2 weeks after preorders start. So it makes sense, but making the launch day only 1 week after preorders was not smart. I expect everyone that has 9/23-9/30 ship dates will have them within that time frame.

From what I remember, Apple has always done their launch one week after pre-orders.

Now someone said their IPhone 7 matte black had a scratch on the front out of the box. WOW - Imagine waiting for yours to be shipped and you get it - then realize it is defective.

I keep checking here periodically throughout the day, some reason it makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who woke up way to damn early to preorder, only to have others that ordered hours and days after me get their phone!

I ordered 7+ 128gb matte black and another silver for the wife. She got hers yesterday, I'm still stuck at preparing to ****!
