Makes no sense, then why have we seen no confirmed reports of 256gb 7+'s shipping from ATT? ATT is just trying to cover their own asses right now. Same for Apple too, I sincerely hope that Apple didn't take the higher capacity pluses away from ATT, Verizon, Sprint, and TMo and use them for their own IUP people, I feel for them, but when I placed an order at 3:04 AM et, and don't get the phone day 1, and now IUP people can get their phones that's some major BS IMO.

Quick questions, can you reserve a phone to be put on ATTs next plan in store at Apple? So if I wanted a Silver 256GB 7+(If they had them) and wanted to get it tomorrow, would they allow it to be done via the Next program? Then again, no guarantee they will have them, and I don't know if I want to chance it by canceling my order on ATT.com.

Of course. In fact, if you order a phone directly from Apple, you specifically have to decide how you're going to finance it, whether paid in full, through Apple's financing partner, or AT&T. If the latter, assuming AT&T says good credit, then you pick their financing.

Everything has to eventually be pinged off AT&T to provision new/upgraded line anyway.

Just cancelled my wife's order for iP7 JB 128GB from at&t, and ordered one from Apple through the upgrade program this time matte black color instead. Got a quicker shipping date as well. I also duplicated my 7+ 256 order as well and will see who will get me the phones first. Probably won't order through at&t anymore since we will be in the upgrade program with Apple if they ship first from now on.

USPS delivers Amazon Prime on Sundays. If it's not Prime then you will get it Monday.
 
Can we get more information on that bestbuy order that the person referred to who got tracking info overnight. Has that been confirmed.

With the lawsuit it appears that will be the case for the future. I ordered thru upgrade and am happy. I was also able to switch payments to ACH checking after my initial payment which really makes it zero interest.

It's very true! I placed my order on 9/9 around 11am and my order date on my status page says I placed my order on 9/10 at 12:55pm. Almost a whole day later than I actually did. I asked someone in a chat about it and they said it took longer to process. But what confuses me is why do most people have a order date right when the preorder went live or shortly after? Why did mine take so dang long to process?! I'm so frustrated. AT&T better get their stuff together!
 
For those of you who received their phones via NEXT, did you get a refund for the tax?

I woke up this morning to see my bank was credited back the ~$60 tax I paid when I placed my order. I got my phone launch day btw.

Why would the tax be refunded again?
 
They put a hold for the tax amount which is paid up front on the full phone price on Next.

The hold comes off after a certain number of days and is actually charged when they ship the phone.

I travel for work and use a wallet case for my phone, license, $, etc., I never see the back of my phone so color doesn't matter to me. I prefer the white face so ordered the 7+ Gold 128gb, which is arriving Monday by FedEx. From the posts here and on TMo it looks like mostly gold, rose gold and silver are being delivered, JB and MB are the popular colors this year and are taking the longest. Remember when rose gold came out? Same problem......

I touched one today at the Verizon store that's a JB 7+ and played with it. It can zoom almost twice what the base 7 can do. Since it was a display 7 + JB I could see massive scratches etc and they've only had it out 2 day for what it's worth. Also side topic I snagged this case (https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Caseo...UTF8&qid=1474138287&sr=8-1&keywords=Caseology) it comes tomorrow the case I mean so I'll let you know if it's sucks. I as well see all stores by me in CO with the 7 series in all colors and storage options you can walk in and buy. I went to see if I could rock a 7 but it's to small for my manglor hands lol

They have 5 days to process their authorization. If they don't, the bank is legally required to put the money back in your account. That money will come back out eventually.

Source : I work for a large bank.
 
Ordered 9/9 at 9 pm EST. 128 GB matte black. I know I ordered late but I was hoping for more info than "preparing to ship" after 8 days.

A few days ago (Wednesday & Thursday) I was checking Bestbuy online. For the MB 128 and 256 7+, it had Express delivery date of Monday Sept 20th. Then as of last night, it now shows Oct 14th. I wonder if anyone actually went through them and getting it on Monday? And we still here waiting...
