I will retract. Got one at a local apple store. They had PLENTY of stock; at least a dozen black 128 Pluses.

Cancelled my order and same Next upgrade. You can do it via reservation at an Apple store (your mileage may vary by store)


F*CK YOU ATT! 4am order still processing 10 days later. Never will order from ATT ever again.
 
That's the thing! A man named Nate called me too. And he wanted me to accept them as well but he couldn't tell me how. He tried to send me to another website to do it and when I tried to input my number and shipping zip code, it said the 'wireless number couldn't be found?' When I went to the actual store, they told me to never accept any terms and conditions before I have a working phone in my hand or else I'm accepting to pay for a phone they may not work once it's shipped to me.. So idk what to do. Obviously there's something weong with my order due to the maintenance because Nate said he could see there was, but the regular CS reps are useless and the store reps absolutely refused to even entertain my concern..
I canceled my order that I initially placed on 9/9 and order a device that should be shipped or whatever by Wednesday - I had to accept the terms and conditions or else the order wouldn't move further - wouldn't that be crazy if that was somehow the hold up for people? I dunno I never had to agree to the t and c when I did the preorder

So I called AT&T service just to make sure my T's and C's were good and while getting to the menu the machine told me about my upgrade and asked if I was calling to activate that phone. Does that mean there is an IEMI assigned to it? if so, on the AT&T website how do I see if I have an assigned # yet? And wouldn't you assume that AT&T would have queried all the people during their " bug" ( it was a crash, they wont admit it) and automatically accepted the terms since it was a mess up on their end? w/e tired of trying to figure out how they work.
Yeah something like that happened to me. It asked me to press 1/2 to activate or or something or to call something idk but something similar happened to me

Nate said that terms and conditions could've been the part they were working on in maintenance at the time preorders opened so it would've let us all through without us accepting them (hence the "bug"), but he had no way of knowing that for sure.
 
For those worried about having to use iPhone upgrade with an Apple Store resevere, you can use any payment option plan you want.
It defaults to apple upgrade but once you're in the store, you can switch to whatever payment option you want.

I went with att next to get the trade in offer at att.

Was I supposed to receive a notification/e-mail about this, accepting the T&C, prior to the iPhone shipping?

Ordered 7 Plus 256gb Matt Black from ATT site with delivery dates of 10/7 - 10/14. Ended up checking the link at around 1:00pm today and reserved a 7 Plus 256gb Matt Black and a 7 256gb Matt Black. When I made the reservation it let me choose ATT but reserved it for apple upgrade program (this is because they are pushing the apple upgrade program). I cancelled my ATT pre-orders while on my way to apple. When I got to the store they tried to push me into their upgrade but when I said I wanted NEXT, they hit a "other options" screen on their device and I was able to do NEXT for both phones with the ATT trade-in program. They even gave me two return labels to ship my old iPhones back to ATT. EASY PEASY!

I keep going to the link to reserve and nothing near the east coast!

My shipping is for oct 14

Yeah I definitely don't remember having to do this for the preorder.. That very well could be the hold up on every order that hasn't shipped yet that was placed soon after preorders opened.

So I ordered on the 9th at 3am but apparently my order was cancelled two days later. No big deal, I got to att and order it on the 12th. The shipping is for Oct 14 to the 24th.

It's a IPhone 7+ Rose Gold 128gb. It says Preparing to ship and I've only gotten one email from AT&T. Any luck that it may be here before Oct! I'm in Pennsylvania

It's looking like now it's a step in the order process. I definitely don't recall accepting terms and conditions when I preordered and the social media rep seemed to think that was the hold up on my shipment because everything else was ready to go. But he sent me to Att.com/tc and wanted me to do it there. It said it couldn't find my wireless number. So he had me try to call it in to an automated system, but when I went through the prompts it said my phone was already activated and in use.. So it's probably connected to the 6S I currently have. Basically, the maintenance seems to be the major culprit here and AT&T doesn't know how to fix it
 
Hey guys. I've been watching this thread since page 50 but wanted to notify you of something after these people are getting calls from "NATE" regarding visiting a website to accept Terms and Conditions. This weekend I received a text that said "Fraud alert from Debit Card at Att.com Please call 1-800 something or another." Im suspicious of things like this so I googled the number and it came back as a phishing scam. I never called, but I assume they want to "verify" your card information by having you read it to them and provide additional information. Beware.

yes, still waiting on my 256 MB Plus ordered at 2:52am on 9.9. Sigh.

the website didn't work. The 800 number didn't work so we had to get on a recorded line for me to accept them with 2 parties as a witness.
Did Nate help you through that? Which number did you call?

And you've already received your shipping info?
