Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Even tho its Last Mile,It will have an UPS Tracking(First) then they give you an USPS tracking (all the way in bottom) on UPS tracking page.
I ordered on 9/9 at 1:54am which was noted on my order but i didn't get my conformation email until this morning at around 11:30 am. Now my order says that i ordered today at 11:26 am!!! I still have the same shipping dates but worried my place in line may be affected. I just now noticed this. Anyone else have this happen?
I just ordered a Cabbage Patch Baby So Real, I think they have the same order fulfillment that Apple does. I am not getting it until 9/21. My iPhone 7 Plus - Black - 256 GB - AT&T is slated to arrive 9/23 - 9/30.
This is how i understand it (from very early posts in this thread and multiple other sites online). If you have a 9/16 delivery date then your your phone is already in country (U.S. in my case), ready to be delivered. If you have a later date, 9/23-30, then the phone is still in China awaiting delivery to the US. They have a week to get it here which is certainly possible. Any dates after the end of September I don't know about.
I believe att is being conservative about their delivery dates.
Better to say Oct. and deliver on Sept 16 than say launch day and deliver a month later.

Don't think so. Mine says estimated shipping is 09/30/2016 to 10/07/2016 even though it says preparing.
[doublepost=1473567023][/doublepost]Yes. Call Apple and tell them you want to add Apple Care+ when you receive your iPhones. They'll need the serial numbers from the iPhones. No problem. I have done this several times, with the iPhone & the Apple Watch.
I getting the Black 7 Plus 256gb and the said delivery with be Sept. 23-30
Now it time to look for the first case. don't want anything flashy cause more cases will be coming out over the next few months as people get there...

Mine says both in progress and preparing to ship depending on which order status link I choose are you looking at the screen that was the same in the screen shot?
Like it has been said before, ATT always gives BS ship dates to cover their own rear ends. I ordered the jet black 256gb 7+ at 12:04am and it says a ship date of September 30- October 10th. I go through this every year and have gotten the phone on launch day. I feel confident that I will have my phone in my hands launch day.

I usually preorder from the Apple Store app, but this time I had the MyATT app open as well on my iPad and it automatically placed me in a que at about 11:52pm pst. I got in at 11:54, completed the order for a Matte Black 256 iPhone 7+ (upgrading from a 6+), and was out by 11:58pm. Received confirmation email from AT&T at 12:01am pst, order status email at 12:27am pst. My ship date is 9-23/9-30 and the order status is preparing to ship. Order time was 2:58am est. All in all it's gone extremely smoothly thus far. I've heard nightmare stories about ordering from ATT. Hopefully the order continues to go smoothly and error-free to fulfillment.
Just a note, I couldn't even get on the Apple Store App or the Apple Online Store until nearly 12:15am pst, a full 17 minutes after finishing my ATT order. Fingers crossed.

I placed my order for a 256gb jet black at 3:03am et. I didn't get an order confirmation email until about 4 hours later. My order is marked as "preparing to ship" and an estimated delivery date of 9/30 thru 10/6.
I pre ordered almost every iPhone every year the second the've gone on sale. Every year I have been given an expected delivery date of 2-3 weeks out. I received my phone on launch day on all but one occasion.
The time I didn't was when I ordered my 6+ through Apple instead of AT&T. On that occasion I had been given an expected date of 2-3 weeks out and expected it to change as it always had but it didn't. The phone didn't arrive on launch day so I canceled my order and picked one up the next day at the Apple Store.
