I placed my order for the iPhone 7 Plus 128GB in black at 2:47am EDT through AT&T on my Macbook. My credit card just got charged today but my shipping dates are still showing Sept 23-30.. Per previous year preorders, I still believe everyone in that date bracket will see phones on or around launch day!

I called again today. They resubmitted my order as it was stuck in pending with the same ship dates. So annoying. Clearly, the CS rep didn't know what she was talking about yesterday.
 
I ordered my iPhone 7 Plus 128 Black from AT&T corporate store at 3:04PM ET and the AT&T Rep said my card was not going to get charged until the phone actually ships. A few minutes later the order status changed to Preparing to Ship and at 4:59PM ET they charged my card. I don't even know what to think at this point. My estimated shipping date was October 7-14th.

It means your phone is already identified and assigned to you and sitting in a warehouse possibly close to you… And will sit there till Friday morning because of apples rules with UPS and FedEx. ..

But they won't give you a tracking number till Wednesday or Thursday of this week and hopefully when they give you the tracking number the estimated shipping time will change on your screen as well..

Just go to any of the pre-order threads from the last two years for AT&T and find the posts long about Wednesday and Thursday of pre-order shipment week… And you can read all the same stories. Lol
 
My friend who ordered through Verizon's site at 3:30AM EST will have his phone on Monday. He ordered a Black 128GB regular, not plus model.

He sent me the tracking info this morning.

Nobody gets their phones before launch day… It's a hard and fast rule with Apple… Carriers like FedEx and UPS are charged exorbitant fines if they let them out early. Having said that there have been a few exceptions to the rule in the past. I've known people to get them on Thursday instead of Friday… But never on a Monday. Won't happen !

PS most ATT Plus models on Apple.com are only showing 2 to 3 weeks to ship right now (not jet black).

So Im pretty sure our guesses that a lot of these dates on preorders were WAY WAY overestimated.

If they were ordered almost 48 hours ago and right now only 2 to 3 weeks still, I think many dates will be moving up.

I do wonder why ATT's site says 1st to 2nd week of October but ATT phones on Apple's site say 2 to 3 weeks. No rhyme or reason.
 
When it comes to the 128 gb AT&T black - I don't think AT&T ever had the 16th as a estimated ship date - from what I saw it appears that the default date was 9/23

I also think that's the case with the 256GB Silver 7+, I got in early but was kicked out, but saw that the Silver 256GB was Sept 23-Sept. 30 by default, so I'm optimistic we get our phones on launch day, for those who ordered within the first 30 minutes. I ordered at 12AM(3AM ET).

That's awesome!! I think it's really strange though that I ordered my phone 9/10/16 at 3:04PM ET and yet my phone is going to be here launch day as opposed to October 7-14th. I think that's crazy. But hey I'm not complaining haha

I am getting a 128gb matte black 7 with a delivery by date of 9/16.

My order was "In progress" as of 11:00 AM today.

I called ATT at 11:04 AM and spoke with a representative. She told me my phone was set to ship 9/23-9/30 and to log into the system to confirm.

Now my order says:
Order Date 09/10/2016 at 11:08:18 AM EDT
Shipping Date: 09/23/2016 To 09/30/2016

I ordered at 3:43 AM on 9/9.

What gives?

I ordered the 256 GB Jet Black Plus Order date: 09/09/2016 at 2:54:49 a.m. ET but I still have estimated ship date of 9/30 - 10/7. I had the preauthorization charged since yesterday morning, but still hasn't fell off yet. Trying to figure out when I am going to actually get it.
