Just got off the phone withe AT&T Premier customer service.
Asked why I can't get a straightforward update on status and why people ordering after me are getting shipments.
CS: We ship in the order that the orders are received. So people that were ahead of you may have gotten phones.
Me: Umm, as I said, people ordering after me are getting phones
CS: Umm, there's not a specific way in which we ship the phones, it's not based on order received, or you were put to the back for some reason.
Me: How does AT&T decide to ship phones out then?
CS: I don't know.
Me: Who can tell me
[back and forth on wanting someone to explain this to me and passing me to someone else]
CS2: The reason you haven't gotten your iPhone Plus is AT&T only is shipping the 7's as of the 16th, and we are shipping the Plus on the 23rd.
Me: Umm, that's very very inaccurate as many people that ordered through AT&T have their phones in hand as of Friday, Saturday, and today.
CS2: I haven't seen AT&T ship a single 7 Plus yet. Those people must have gotten them in store.
Me: To myself - I hate AT&T so much
Still telling me "durrr you'll get shipping details by the 23rd!" I assure you, I will not.
AT&T is the worst, the absolute freaking worst. Everything they do is garbage. I can't wait for them to eff up my DirecTV next, just hasn't been enough time yet.
