Agreed. I'm not happy about the terrible CS from AT&T. But, at the end of the day, it's just a phone. When it comes, it comes...We're all in the same boat people. Contacting AT&T CS is not going to accomplish anything. Not. Anything.

Also, I DID need my phone because my old phone's battery was only holding a charge for about 30 minutes, so that's why I made the effort to get on the website by 12:00 pacific time on the 9th...I'd been putting off getting a new phone, waiting for this one, so yes...some of us actually have a legitimate reason to be pissed off about people ordering the exact same phone after us getting theirs first.

Just called the local Apple store that had the iPhone I wanted in stock for Verizon but not AT&T and asked if I could reserve it under Verizon but activate it on AT&T. Apparently they cannot do this because they need to confirm your account information through the carrier prior to selling you the phone, meaning that without a Verizon account they will not give you the phone.
Let me know if anyone has a different experience.
iPhone 7+ 256GB MB Ordered 9/9 6:03AM EST. Status "Preparing to Ship". Expected Shipping Date: 9/23 - 9/30.
If you're paying outright for the phone, you can just set it up as a new line with Verizon. Go pick it up, unlock it, and put it on your line. Then just call and cancel the new service. This only works if you want to pay outright for the phone though.

Hey guys! been her since day 1. I'm seeing SOME type of movement on my order. Ordered a MB 7+ 128gb at 4:52am (central) from ATT. Has been showing preparing to ship since the 9th, but as of about an hour ago, it says back ordered. Not exactly what I want to see, but it is something.
I've noticed that whenever someone on here has said that their status switched to "Backordered" that that was actually a good sign. Typically their phones ended up shipping shortly after the status said "Backordered."
Got my shipment notification yesterday but finally got movement today. Origin scanned and being put on a plane as we speak. Will be here (Florida) Wednesday

Check again tonight at 12:02am. I was able to reserve one last night at the Greensboro store. Spots go fast but you should be able to get one.Just checked and there are no 7+'s at any Apple Store in NC
