That's not even my point. If this were a normal order on a normal day, I would expect them to be of assistance. But anyone that has been around the Pre-Order scene knows that CS reps from AT&T or Apple cannot offer anything in terms of accurate information during this time.
Maybe my comment wasn't clear. Sorry about that. I'm in agreement that the CS reps know as much (and in many cases, much less) than the informed people on this board. What I'm trying to say is that I think the workers are doing what they can with limited info (and phones), so contacting them repeatedly about your order is a futile endeavor.
 
just got off the phone with a Product Specialist. She was way nicer than any CSR I've spoke with at AT&T. She said my phone is in the warehouse. It is just a matter of them shipping it out. So here's hoping today is the day.
what number did you call if you don't min me asking?

"Backordered" status is showing via the text option.
 
ahhh i can get "in progress" showing my order number when i use the text option myself using the option to use the contact number or wireless number but it cant find that same order number when i use the search via order number option or the original K006-OY-XXXXXXX number that comes in the first email and shows online. I think the K00 order number is the warehouse picking number and the other order number is the one we are supposed to search for that begins with 21- but either way in text the order number search isn't working for me. ONline i can search via the K006 number or the 21- order number and get the same preparing to ship status. Long story short.... I should just wait until the 23rd and stop watching the pot boil and just be excited if it comes early.
 
I ended up cancelling my Plus 128 JB pre-order through AT&T and ordered one through Apple with the upgrade program. Hopefully that bumps one of you guys up a notch :)

I'm assuming still no movement on ANY 7+ 256gb mb?? I've skipped pages here and there. I'm sorry for asking, if it was recently asked. No movement on mine. At all.

same here the text option doesnt work for me.. it give me an error message :(
 
I called AT&T yesterday and the woman said my order said "in progress" and should ship out today or tomrrow..,how would she know that info? Do you guys think she's correct?
 
My Jet Black Plus (128GB) still says it won't ship until last week of November/first week of December. Anyone here had their dates move up? I may have better luck finding it somewhere else if not...
 
I'm starting to wonder if I even want to switch to Att now from Sprint. This preorder had been a nightmare and I've heard nothing but people bashing them. What do you guys think? Cancel my preorder and stay with Sprint or wait it out??
 
Not sure, I just bought mine out right. From what I've read, others who followed my lead with the Verizon iPhone cancelled their att order when they had the Verizon phone in hand.. apparently the next eligibility returns pretty fast once you cancel.

They could not sell me a Verizon phone on an AT&T plan at all. It was trying to look up a Verizon account. They tried to trick it into thinking it was an AT&T phone to no avail. They couldn't even sell it to me on the Apple Every Year plan. I could only buy it outright.

For anyone who was able to buy a Verizon phone on AT&T Next, what was the secret?

I don't think she is. She's, more than likely, brushing you off for a couple of days.

There's a link to make reservations in each location by state. They just checked the reservations for availability. There's none in any state surrounding me.

I don't have the link handy. It's back on 276 I believe.

Don't do it. Well i dont know how sprint service for you.. but for me it was terrible. Tmobile was at some point better but i ended up switching to att a month ago.. and service is like day and night.
