Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Take this for what its worth:
I had two orders placed at the same time (ATT.com and Apple.com)...only due to the pre-order madness did that happen...by normal standards this wouldn't have been possible since my upgrade eligibility would have been used up.
A friend of mine did the same thing, and when Apple went to process his order today, they cancelled it because upgrade eligibility was screwed (due to the existing ATT order).
So, I had to make a call...so I went on ATT, got on with a supervisor, and had them cancel my order, and also "reverse the upgrade" as they put it, to ensure that any order processed by Apple would go through.
Here is the interesting part: When asking them what they thought I should do: Cancel Apple or Cancel AT&T...they suggested I cancel the AT&T order and try my luck with Apple. This is senior sales rep with AT&T. Without saying as much, it was clear to me that they have little confidence that they will be fulfilling any of the high-demand models any time soon.

None in Central Illinois or Chicagoland according to the Target website.None in my area either

I tried to reserve the one in Tucson and its gone. I called the store and they said they never had it in stock.Just for for fun I went to the http://www.istocknow.com/live/ site to see what is available in various stores. It turned out to be rather depressing. I checked about 8 stores around the country and only found two that had any 256 GB 7+ iPhones at all. And these are Apple Stores. (One in Tucson and one in Grand Rapids.)
Oh well, ATT told me between 9/23 and 9/30 so I'll start to get upset around 11:00 PM on 9/30.
I don't think the warehouse ID is meaningful other than it is based on where you are. Your warehouse might be different from mine because we are in different parts of the country. It doesn't mean anything about the status of your order. It's also why some in here think that parts of the country are getting fewer shipping notices - those warehouses might not be getting a fair share of product shipments.
i just don't understand how this can be, when I ordered two days ago and my shipping date still says 10/14/2016 to 10/21/2016
There was one in Grand Rapids? Damn! That's only 45 minutes from where I live!
Let us know how that works out. I'm seriously thinking about going that same route for our phones.
Considering Apple made it up to 10/4 estimates today, and mine is a 10/14, I have no doubt it will only be a few more days at most.
Yeah, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who had this happen. I intended to wait and see which ships first, however I almost canceled one thinking maybe that's my hold up. ATT says it will ship this Friday-30th, Apple's says November.Apple's pending charge fell off a long time ago, but ATT's has yet too. Since I pre-ordered the jet black with Apple I might as well cancel it. I doubt it will move up to a reasonable time.

WTF? Why would I make something up? I called them and that is what the lady told me. She was looking it up on some sheet they had printed out.
A rare honest ATT rep told me they don't even have the phones yet. I believe him.
It's a 256 Gold plus. Apparently no one wants it. If it was Rose Gold, it would be in my hands right now.
They are giving you incorrect information. Tons of others have gotten them with Next and paying full price.
For anyone who hasn't really considered checking Apple Store stock at midnight, I highly suggest it. I did have to drive a couple hours but it was so easy to walk in and pick up the phone. Not to mention it felt amazing to cancel that ****ing order

Went back a few pages and didn't see anything, but have any jet black 256's shipped for ATT yet? Still preparing to ship with 10/7-10/14 as an eta. Ordered at 3:16

The good news for me and others who get there shipments out of Memphis via Fedex, is that there are 3 flights from DFW to Memphis this evening and they don't start leaving until about 8:45. So in theory, it's possible if mine is on that flight it could still get through Dallas and Memphis in time to hit a truck tomorrow.
Or maybe not....
