There's 3 UPS planes coming into Dallas from Louisville(where the planes with the iPhone's go to after landing in Alaska) arriving early tomorrow morning. Maybe we'll see some more movement tomorrow if there are in fact iPhones on those planes.

As others have reported, I reserved a Verizon 128 plus at an Apple Store and cancelled my preorder. I can confirm you cannot put a Verizon unlocked on att next but much prefer the unlocked Verizon phone over the att limitations even though I am on att.

I've been following this thread like most. Got nailed by the "site maintenance" 9/9 @ 3 am so my order did not go through until 4:18 for a 128 JB 7+. No updates, no anything. It was slated to ship Oct 14-21st. Reserved a phone last night via apple.com just after midnight and drove 100 miles today to pick it up. Cancelled my ATT order as soon as I had reserved it. Big shout out to those who suggested taking that route. I went with a matte black because the jet wasn't a must have for me.
did you use the reserve link or just apple.com?
 
Looks like Matte Blacks are starting to ship for the Verizon thread......maybe our phones are on those flights into Dallas in the AM? lets hope....

Lucky, I checked all of central Florida and all out of stock. Well except a store in Orlando that has limited stock, but trying to drive to Orlando is a pain lol especially for a maybe and it wouldn't let me reserve a phone:(
 
My ship date just moved back one day and is now Oct.19-26...I don't know if that's good or bad? I'm leaning more toward good because that means they're updating systems and stuff? I order an IP7+ in matte black, 128GB

When did you order? My IP7+ 128gb was ordered on 9/10 at noon and I got the Oct 7-14 shop date and it's never changed.

Just spoke to a walmart phone person who told me they just got a memo from corporate that they are not getting ANY iPhone Pluses until late November, and this is a Walmart Superstore in a big city.
 
I always get an error message when I try checking progress via *6737# no matter what method I use if someone had this problem please advise
 
I am out, just cancelled my ATT order. I will stick out my 6+ for a few more months, maybe after the holidays will look at the 7+ again. Will start pushing these phones 30 months before upgrading, so I will upgrade to 7+ in the spring and then maybe the iPhone 9 in 2019. Maybe the pain in the axx that this process is will help save money in the long run...maybe I should thank Apple for being so difficult to purchase there crap.

March 2016 - iPhone 7+
Sept 2017 - skip iPhone 8
Sept 2018 - skip iPhone 8s
Sept 2019 - iPhone 9

For order and contact number I get "unable to retrieve order details. verify information and try again." But for wireless number I get "requested information is currently unavailable. try again later." I guess the latter is better than the first two.

My order shows up online and I spoke to cs to make sure there was nothing wrong. They said everything was fine and items would ship on scheduled dates, but I took that with a grain of salt.

I only have an error with option #2 and #3 (Contact Number; Order Number) but if I use option #1 by phone number it works fine.

Because I do it from the phone line I'm upgrading, I just reply with my zip (i.e 90210) but you can type 1 for number and type in phone plus zip (i.e 310-555-9999 90210) and it should work.

Still nothing for my 256GB Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus preordered through ATT.

Surprisingly, my Mom's 256GB Rose Gold iPhone 7 Plus that I ordered from Best Buy just shipped and will be overnighted for delivery by 10:30am tomorrow, the 20th... The weirdest part is that according to UPS, it weighs .1 pounds... So I do not know what to think, but Best Buy notified me that it shipped and it popped up in UPS MyChoice.

-My brother's 256GB Black iPhone 7 Plus that he ordered around 3:20am from Apple delivers tomorrow...
-My brother's 256GB Black iPhone 7 (new line) from ATT delivered on Saturday.

This leaves behind:
-My Dad's 256GB Black iPhone 7 Plus (Best Buy)
-My brothers 256GB Silver iPhone 7 Plus (Best Buy)
-My 256GB Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus (ATT)

Best Buy gave us $100 in credit per phone because of the delay. I wish ATT would do something like that.
I got $50 in credit from Best Buy for my 42mm Space Gray Series 2 Apple Watch, which has actually been delayed to September 28, 2016 from Best Buy officially.

Literally, ordering from 3 different places for 6 iPhones has yielded such interesting results... Haha.
