Been following a while and this is my first post but there are some open reservations in the LA area for tomorrow. AT&T MB+ 128 through the normal Apple.com ordering. Just choose the pickup option and search. Right now South Coast and Pasadena along with a couple other are available. I'll be at South coast at 10am to pick up mine. See you there!
I'm stopping by Pasadena tomorrow night. It's going to be a long day at work.
 
I feel like AT&T has completely forgotten about my order..... I ordered on Sept 9.... and someone who ordered on Sept 13 just received shipping info.... for the exact same phone..... why...... I call and they say nothing is wrong with my account or my order yet they keep shipping phones to people who order after me (and even the people who ordered before me)..... Im tired of this **** now.... I was chill and light-hearted about it, but now.... **** that.... GIVE ME MY DAMN PHONE... AND SOME ****IN AIRPODS!

it says "up to" because the maximum "free" iphone they are offering is the 32gb base model. However, if you ordered one that costs more, like a 128gb plus, you still get $650 via the trade offer. That's why there is a special promo code to input. Ignore the value they list on their trade in page.

Don't apologize lol. I feel the same way. I hate AT&T right now. We should've got our phones a long time ago hahaha.
My biggest fear with this disaster of a roll out by ATT is that we will never get our phones. Clearly they have no stock of Pluses and they are just BS'ing us with the pathetic fake "preparing to ship" order status nonsense, and these phony shipping window dates of 9/23/9-30. They don't have them now, and they're not going to have them by Friday. They just don't want people to cancel in mass.
They lie al the time. Their "official" reason for their site going down 90 minutes into preorder was "scheduled routine maintenance". Lol what kind of moron schedules "routine maintenance" 90 minutes into their biggest sales day of the year? That is how stupid they think we are. I had a supervisor finally admit the site crashed. These people had months to prepare their servers for that night. I don't trust this company at all. After 10 years, I'm ready to leave.

Same! I had a few AT&T reps tell me that the orders were processed first come first serve. Obviously not.

I was able to reserve one for the south coast store as well, but of course, had a problem with ATT for some reason but I just forged ahead and it seemed to work. Got an email from Apple saying I've reserved a phone and a reservation # however it says they were not able to reach the carrier and that I'll get another email giving me instructions to complete my order. I don't even want to deal with ATT, I am buying the phone outright up front, why on Earth is ATT even involved in this??

I do see that 6 planes arrived in Kentucky last night and 6 more will be arriving in Kentucky this evening. Hopefully we will see some movement in the next few days.
 
There's are tons of planes heading to Louisville and Dallas overnight. Do you think I'll see a shipper status tomorrow because of the back order? Or do you think mine is actually backordered?
I did not order the black phone but the day after mine went to back order on the text it shipped the next day

Finally gave up on ATT this morning. Had the 7+ 256 Matte pre ordered since 9/9/16. Had order being processed with shipment dates of 9/23-9/30. Talked to a CSR yesterday and of course she said the phone won't be shipped out until then most likely the latest date. They have no clue. I canceled this morning logged onto the Apple App saw that the 7+ 128GB Matte was available for pickup today at the store on 57th Street in NYC. Picking up today after work. I didn't NEED the 256 so that's why I changed. I will be just fine with the 128 and don't have to keep waiting for the status to change. Had to be the most annoying experience with ATT. Good luck to all!!!

Go onto the apple app and go to buy. Choose the options you want. Click check store availability.
 
My Shipping dates got "updated" last night.

A UPS plane landed in Fort Worth and also in Memphis this morning around 6am Eastern. Looking back at the flights usually each time this has happened updates occurred about 6 hours later on the forum.... here's hoping ;) I've also started seeing a smattering more shipping notifications on other boards. It would be super cool if it scanned in today and was overnighted as they usually do... I've ordered at least a device or 2 or 3 per year and have never had them ship on or later than that window... always before... knock on wood. I'm a 9/9 orderer of the the rg 256 7+... yeah, the pink one ;)

I had two orders in on the 9th but att fd those orders up so i had to reorder when i found out...

I am fairly certain that our orders are somehow screwed up and continually getting skipped over by the fulfillment system and we will never see our phones. When people who ordered the same exact phone as me 5 days ago, are getting orders fulfilled and my order from 11 days ago, within the first 5 minutes of preorders going live, just sits with zero updates, something is very wrong.

I was able to get a few responses from them via DM, but they haven't been much help at all in regards to the preorders. Mostly just "first come, first served" and the device I ordered was backordered, which was a MB 7+ 128g.

Yeah, they are absolutely useless. This was their explaination to me on why people who orders DAYS after me are getting the same phone I ordered but mine sits with no updates and preparing to ship.

"If you and I place and order at the same time and there is only one phone left, who will receive the device first depends on which one is processed first. So even though the orders was placed at the same time one of them will get the phone sooner than the other. I hope this helps. Thanks for reaching out. ^JenB"

It could just be his region. That seems to play a big part in the shipping process, but I agree something does not feel right.
