I knew there would be some exceptions, so largely we are waiting on particular models. Rumor is that there will be another wave of shipping today so hopeful this board continues to dwindle until it just me. Don't worry I'll turn off the lights. Peace
I'm with ya in the Oct 14-21 window with MB 7+ 128 GB but the good news is we are within 30 days of even the slowest time of our window!

I think I got my hopes up.

I think i might have spoken too soon. That text might not have meant anything.......my order status (both online and *6737) still shows processing and the window of 10/13/2016 To 10/20/2016.

This was the text I received yesterday.

"AT&T Free Msg: Your iPhone 7 Plus is on its way. As a reminder, you can receive up to $650 in monthly credits toward your new phone when you trade in an eligible iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone 6S Plus. Go to att.com/tradeinoffer for full details including special trade instructions."

Yeah, that's the spam text that many people received yesterday (not me). It doesn't seem to mean anything although some people had their orders switch to 'backorder' shortly after receiving it but that could be just a coincidence.

For people looking for shipment of 7+ 256GB MB phones...there were a few that shipped yesterday. It seems to reason that more are on the way to be shipped out in the next few days (but then again, who really knows). Three UPS flights landed this morning at DFW and there are more scheduled for later this afternoon. For most of us with this phone order, the dates are 9/23-9/30 so it should be soon. I, like most of you, are disgusted with AT&T's attempt for a smooth preorder. The handful of like phones that went out yesterday were all ordered AFTER I did! I pushed the order button at exactly 3:01AM EDT on the 9th, but my order said it was completed at 2:52AM.

Those that are asking about the path your phones takes, no one knows for sure, but the general theory is that they leave China on UPS flights to Anchorage, AK then on to the UPS hub in Louisville, KY. From there, they get shipped to a AT&T warehouse in Dallas/Ft. Worth where they are processed and then handed over to (mostly) Fedex to be delivered to you.

Here's hoping that there will be significant movement of the 7+ 256GB MB phones in the next couple of days!

I hope you are right! And I wonder if the ones that were shipped are the matte black version? My order actually "processed" at 3:07 am. I can't believe how they are sending phones out to ppl who ordered later first. Absolutely makes no sense, that is what really grinds my gears. Ugh. Meanwhile, here's to hoping our phones ship today!

Bad news, package is not my phone. I had doubts as it was coming UPS ground, but I finally got the shipping notice from the shipper and it is the other package instead. Nice to receive it, but my iPhone would have been better.

Got the spam text yesterday, and a text and email that my MB 7+ 128 had shipped a few hours later. FedEx tracking shows delivery today by 8PM. Shipping originated out of Memphis. I placed my order 9/9 at 8:39 am.

Jet Black 256GB continues to be (as this thread has historically called them) the proverbial unicorn. The mythical reference is that it's rarely -- if ever -- seen in the wild.

This is to say that when reports surfaced last week that Jet Blacks were sold out, especially of the Plus variety, those reports weren't kidding.

However, there are more than a few of us in the 9/23-9/30 window awaiting that "wave" of orders. Anecdotally, I've had come CSRs tell me their supervisors state that the Matte Black (BLK) may end up shipping slightly earlier than expected, but that the Jet Black (JB) may be per whatever someone's original order date was.

Another correlation I've noticed. While I have seen a few folks claim 256GB-based models ship on this thread, that level of device also appears to be of a rare breed (I'm going to say that Apple didn't produce as many of those as the other configurations based on projected demand; you'd think that would free up more for preorder, right?).

This comment is as of 9/21. We're getting within range of 9/23 (obviously), so if those supervisors were being legit with their info, some of us should start to see notifications.

Mine:
2 IP7+ BLK 256GB, ordered 9/9 8:30am/12:30pm ET, 9/23-9/30

This is the most beautifully written thing I've read on this forum so far.

I haven't even been able to find a MB 128GB in a store anywhere around me (Charlotte, NC). I'd gladly cancel my order and get that in store if I could get my hands on it. I don't even need the 256GB. I ordered it because it had the soonest estimated ship dates at the time I ordered. The closest MB 128GB I could find to me was in NYC. I've actually been looking at flights up there... I just really want my iPhone!

What, that verbiage? I assure you it's nothing more than simply taking what I believe can be reasonably confirmed and making some back-of-the-napkin inferences based on that.

But thanks, anyway :)

Precisely. Makes me wonder if I should have ordered the 128gb like my fiancé. But I'd rather have more than enough storage so... waiting waiting waiting
I think the 128 is gonna be enough for me now they I have basically doubled on each phone. My wife thought about getting the 32gb 7 cause shes coming from the 16gb 5s. I convinced her to get the 128 so she wouldn't have to worry about running into the hard cap anytime soon.

same boat, in Sugar Land, and rec'd the "back order" status message this morning... hopefully, we shall get ours tomorrow, if NOT today, that would be amazing !!!
I'm in Sugar Land also but nothing. Shipping supposed to be 10/14-10/21. JB 128 plus.

that spam text may not mean anything if you got it, but i think it means something if you DIDN'T get it... my wife received it (her phone was delivered on 9/16) and i did not. No change on my MB 7+ 256 ordered at 12:18am PST - Louisiana.

Many people are complaining about their AT&T preorder and threatening to cancel, but as far as I can tell the majority of people's phones are shipping earlier than the dates AT&T gave them when they placed their order. So what is the problem?

Same for me -- no spam text & no change on my MB 7+ 256 ordered at 2AM CST - Arkansas

The text means nothing either way. I didn't get the text and my phone shipped this morning.
