Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Some co-workers that ordered 9/12 and 9/13 through ATT premier are getting shipping notifications now, 1-2 weeks before expected. These are 7+, 256G, MB's too.

Preorders started 9/9. I fell asleep waiting for preorders to start and didn't place my order until after 8am using AT&T app. Mine stayed in Preparing to Ship ever since. Finally today I got a text saying my order is shipping. I am so excited!

Other than that, the fact that we've gone since 2007 and this happens every time (and yet these places are all not only still in business, but as a shareholder in T and AAPL, I know they're doing very well) suggests that they do know what they're doing, and I, of course, was being sarcastic.

I don't expect to convince you, per se, otherwise, but I also know that if I'm promised shipping between 9/23-9/30, then I'm not going to go apoplectic until (as someone else said in this thread) 11:59pm 9/30 ET, and even then it's not worth busting a gasket. Instead, it's worth scoping out a resolution and/or plan of action.

It's not just the shipping dates. Shipping WAY out of order, ridiculous and misleading junk email telling us our phones were "on the way", then the insane "scheduled maintenance" 90 minutes into preorder. They go live a half hour before anyone else which caused a hiccup in the system. No, this was a very poor implementation of the preorder process. I suppose we'll just agree to disagree.

Well folks tomorrow is going to be a hard day for those of us still waiting. Reality sets in if we don't get a ship notification tomorrow we are in for another weekend without our phones.
 
I've been checking Apple stores in the Los Angeles area and haven't seen any come up as available in any color or size. I'm still in preorder hell waiting for my unicorn 7+ 256 jb...

I realized that I ordered the same day you did just a few hours later. I too have the ATT app and will just hang tight and realize that I will get a text when its time.

smh That happens to me as well when I use the reserve link. There phones all around me lol that I can't make it to...at least without reserving it to make sure it's there before I drive 1-2 hours away:mad:

True, but I don't think there are a lot of people on these boards who ordered 32 GB phones. Probably a lot of people in the general public, but not a lot of people who come to forums like macrumors. FWIW, I ordered a 32 GB MB 7+ for my father on 9/13, 10:18 am, and I have been stuck on preparing to ship, with 10/11-10/18 expected ship dates since then.
 
- Ordered MB 7+ 256gb at 3:34 am ET on 9/9
- Checked this morning on *6737# and was moved to back-ordered
- Shipped today for delivery tomorrow in San Diego (via Fedex through Dallas)

Best thing to do is log off and go about your business, because nothing is stopping that train at this point. At the end of the day there's no reason to sweat over a piece of metal and glass, because its more than likely going to come between that shipping window for most of the "unlucky" folks who pre-ordered 9/9 early AM myself included.

Yeah, I have seen a few that have ordered them, but no one saying they shipped. I got the 32 for testing since i'm an app developer. Getting the 128 for my daily phone, but decided I would hold off on that for now since the ship dates were so far out.
