Same here. Got in early at 11:58 pm pacific time, saw no 9-16 ship dates for the black or JB Plus models. I ended up with a 9-23/9-30 ship window even though I completed the order before midnight on the 9th. Very strange process thus far. I am more used to ordering from Apple where I received far more information and I have more confidence in getting my device on time. Not hearing a word from ATT about my order for 3 days now is a bit disheartening.
I'm in the same boat as you are, ordered the exact same thing around 2:57 AM EST but got that same shipping estimate, so odd.
I see no one got delivery date earlier than Oct. 13th for 7+ Jet black 128Gb
Everyone I've seen that ordered right when the pre-order opened got the same dates for that version. I ordered the same in Jet Black with Oct 14-21 dates, which is also the same for everyone I've seen.
Just wait until Wednesday or Thursday and you should receive something from ATT, base on the prior experience as long as you pre-ordered around 12:00AM PT on the pre-order day you should be getting the device on launch day, at least the 5S, 6, 6S are the same time frame of delivery for me, pre-ordered before mid-night or a few minutes later and received the confirmation e-mail indicating the phone will delivery a month later, however when the launch day getting close then all the sudden received an e-mail from ATT saying the device is shipped and deliver overnight on launch day. So, relax and give it another two or three more days and you should see something from ATT
I have AT&T Premier so unfortunately due to the way the Apple site works, I ordered through AT&T for my parents. Good thing is I'm earning credit card points and Plenti points. Personally I've got a 6s and a S7 edge, so not in a rush to get the new 7.
But my mom took 20k+ photos on her 6s in the last year and wants the new 256GB capacity and the zooming function, so decided to order them both an upgrade.

Well I wasn't planning on upgrading by my wife wants a new iPhone and with the offer AT&T is doing I pulled the trigger on two 32GB Black 7s. Guessing we won't be seeing these until October.
no problem at all, tried the "track by reference" trick and nothing show up on UPS or FedEx website yet, so hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday will see something
anyone that ordered a 7+ 32GB matte black get a tracking number yet ? I ordered at 3:16 am EST. might have missed launch day again
No one who ordered through ATT has a tracking number yet.
So i contacted AT&T and they apologized but said they couldn't provide any information on tracking since they don't know yet how much inventory has been allocated to them from Apple. Obviously I took that with a grain of salt. Although they did mention that the shipping estimate is not necessarily reflective of when we'll get our device and we can get them earlier. Basically confirming what everyone already expects. It's going to feel like a long wait till Wednesday but that's when we'll start hearing people get their shipping confirmations.
I was one of the lucky ones who actually got in and ordered before the 1200am PST launch. I am not worried about the arrive date at all, I'm sure Friday will be a happy day!

This is my first iPhone preorder so let me make sure I'm getting everything right from reading this thread -
I ordered a 7+ 128gb black at 1:00 pm on the 9th and received a shipping date of Sept. 23-30. Should I expect these dates to be correct because I ordered so late?
It will be shipped Fedex with no signature required, correct? It's been years but we did have some packages disappear from our porch so I want to be home when it's delivered.
I'm currently using a 4 I dug out of our junk drawer. My wife got a new job and had to give up her company supplied phone so I gave her my 6+ knowing I would get the 7 in a couple of months. The 4 kind of works but is very buggy, lots of apps don't work or crash constantly so as you can imagine I'm beyond ready for an upgrade.

I tried this as well. lol desperate times call for desperate measures I guess.
I looked up my order from last year with Fedex. The reference number was some off the wall number. There's not way I would have ever been able to track it that way. I'm thinking it will be the same this year.
They told me that they usually ship 2-3 day shipping meaning they would ship your phone 2-3 days before what they tell you is your new delivery date in the tracking email. If needed to get the package to you on time, they will use overnight delivery as well. Seemed logical to me.
AT&T will ship the iPhone in the date that they sent through the email confirmation. Is that date, not before, not later.
I got the iphone 7 plus 256gb Jet Black, My dates are September 30-October 7th. When I tried to order the first time it failed but the dates were sept 23-30th but when i retried I got the sept30-oct7 date
