Got an e-mail from AT&T just now. ...It said that I could now enjoy "blue benefits," such as not having to wait in line to get tickets for a concert, go see a movie, etc. (It had nothing to do with my pre-order.)Go

I found it ironic when they said that I didn't have to wait in line to get concert tickets, but I have to wait to get my damn iPhone! Haha... :p

Don't cancel. Go to the store first and make sure they really have what you need. Then cancel. I have an appointment today at 12 so i will be doing the same thing.
please let us know what happens. im gona be in that same boat soon, and i need to know if the elibility resets immeiately when cancelling

Could someone please clarify the following for me?

1) For the $650 in bill credits promotion when you trade in a 6s, do you just have to ORDER by 9/30, or do you have to activate by 9/30?

2) Do you have to order direct from AT&T to get this promotion? Or can I just sign up for a next plan through an Apple Store order?

From what I was told by an att store rep and from what I read on att.com you have to order your phone through one of the att next plans by sept 30. Then you have 30 days from when you receive your phone to trade in your 6/6s. You should start to see the credit with in 2-3 billing cycles.

I'm still waiting to get back ordered.
7+ 128gb MB
Ordered 9/9 4pm pacific
Ship date 10/7-10/14

The confusion is over the fact you can order a device through Apple on an at&t Next plan. My gut tells me that at&t shouldn't care where you ordered the device, since the whole idea is to tie you to at&t for 24 months, to get the full credit, but playing CSR roulette people are hearing different things!

I'm in Michigan as well. Order went to back order early this morning, but no shipping info yet :(

Don't worry, you're golden. I'll bet that you'll receive the shipping info before you wake up tomorrow. My status went to back order on Wednesday around 5:30pm-6pm and I got the shipping email around 4am the next morning.

Like others here have said, I was pretty excited to see the words "back ordered" this morning. Can't say I've ever felt that way before HAHA!

Have been lurking, but thought I would add my status:

Ordered through a corporate account via AT&T.
Ordered iPhone 7+ Matte Black, 128GB on 9/9 12:58:52 p.m. ET.
Originally given Estimated ship dates: September 23, 2016 - September 30, 2016
Was in "In Progress" status via website and *ORDR# status up until today (September 23, 2016)
Phone went to backordered status when I checked this morning (September 23, 2016), same date as first estimated ship date in the range.

Hope this helps for any of you guys who ordered through your corporate account.

NC Southpoint store had a bunch of 7's show up today. MB's too. I would think by end of next week anyone, sans JB, will have there phones.

Just got back ordered for 128 MB 7p but to be honest I'm over ATT.... managed to snag one through reservation and pickup last night at midnight for 10 am pacific time. Anyone know if I can still cancel once I'm there even though I'm backordered?

Michigander here. Just wanted to add to the thread. Ordered mb 7+ 128gb on 9-13 @5:18 eastern time.
I'm seeing a lot of these phones shipping and the latest I've seen preordered and shipped for this model is 9-9 @5pm-ish eastern so far.

So I called the *ORDR# and after I submitted my zip code it responded with "We're sorry. Requested information is currently unavailable. Please try again later." Does anyone know what this means?
