For any of you who have already received your phones but are still lurking in the forums, have you encountered the "hissing" noise that many people were complaining about?

128 + silver. It's really quiet but if you put it near your ear you can hear a whine/hiss. The phone was hot when I first loaded my backup to it.

Ok so 1 of my 7P Gold 128GB has been charged to the card. Thats all the info i got, no shipping or anything. Idk if Ill get shipping or not bc I ordered them at the ATT store Monday. Still waiting on 2 128 7P silvers.
 
Anyone on the same boat???ordered 9/9 at 3:36am. AT&T California.

What was your original time and date of your order? And what phone did you order?
Have you called them yet? You're phone might be one of those pinging back and forth
Yes I've called multiple times and they said everything looked right. However there were 3 planes that grounded in Korea due to a typhoon and they were grounded on Monday and that's when I recieved my back order status. Someone said their Apple Watch 2 said "shipped" on Monday but they haven't gotten it yet so it was probably on those planes as well. They're on there way to the US now so I hope this is the case!!

Finally, it left Korea!
How can you see this? I've been on back order for 4 days and I think my phone was on those planes in Korea. Are you on backorder? If so how long?

Has anyone been on backorder for going on two to three days without no shipping notification?
Been on back order since Monday...order an iPhone 7+, MB, 128GB

What happens if I preordered the phone on a new line of service and I never activate that new line? My plan was to just take the SIM card out of my current phone and use it in the 7 when I get it.

You will have to activate the line and sim on the new phone then remove the "new" sim card and put the sim card you want to use in the new phone.
 
Went into bo this morning and just received shipping confirmation by usps. Phone is shipping to PR. For reference, I ordered on 9/9 at 12:50pm. Been on "preparing for shippment" since the order was placed, never saw any movement on my order till early this morning. Not even 4 hours later and my phone was registered as shipped.
I was very closed to cancelling my order, but we don't have an apple store here in PR. Glad my status has changed. This has been an ordeal.

My phone went to back order sometime overnight, 7+ MB 128GB, preorder 9/9 11am. Still no shipping and I reserved a silver 7+ for today at apple. Figured I would cancel my ATT order if I did not get a tracking # before my noon reservation.

Time comes and no tracking info. Try to cancel via the app, no luck . Says I can't do it because my phone is in the process of being shipped. Call ATT, talk with two supervisors and they can't cancel it since it is the cancel button is greets out on their screen. My phone is waiting on the shipper to pick it up and scan into their system so I get my tracking number. I didn't have time to waste to have apple attempt to cancel. Damn ATT. If your phone gets to the point where it's waiting on FedEx to pick it up, you may not be able to cancel. Or maybe ATT is full of crap.

They explained it as they processed later. Do you think it's something to complain about?

Update: once you go into back order I guess you can't cancel. Just tried this morning and they said because my ship date is 23-30 it's too close for me to cancel so I have to wait and decline the package. What the actual.

My online says preparing to ship but the text gives me the backorder message. So, I have a black reserved at the Apple Store. I'm at work unfortunately, so I have someone taking care of it for me in a little less than two hours. Apple is supposed to be pretty good at getting the upgrade reset and canceling the preorder.
