What I would be thinking too. I am surprised to see on Apple's site that the MB+'s are now 3-4 weeks shipping, last week it was 2-3.
I was able to place an order on the 11th for a line in my account. Wondering if the outage was just intermittent.
Man still nothing and mine went to back order around 5 on Friday. Still says back order
Not sure why my reply was cut short, it should have been silver and matte black (one for me, one for wife).
And to each his own on color choice. It seems when the iPhone came out in white, everyone had to have, then gold everyone had to have it, then rose gold. Next year when it's blue or red or even brown everyone will have to have it.
Starting to get jealous of those who received a backorder status. Haha!
Tweeted at AT&T, saying that I was considering switching back to Verizon even though my phone bill would cost more, but their cell quality is better and they usually have better Customer Service.

QUESTION FOR PEOPLE WHO ORDERED AT&T NEXT PHONE DIRECTLY FROM APPLE WEBSITE:
When you get or when you got your phone from Apple, did it include a LABEL for you to return the old iPhone to AT&T?
The ones from AT&T include a USPS Label to send the old phone back.

My friend who lives around the corner from me just had his 128 gb mb + ship and he ordered his at 7:30 pm in store 
Appple has stated officially that they will turn you away and sell you nothing unless you are already an IUP customer. Some on here have been able to get one anyway so it's dependent on the discretion of the sales rep. But yes, if you can buy a Verizon phone your At&t SIM card will work.
I assume you know you'll pay full price for the phone, correct?
I hear you can just walk into an AT&T store and do the trade-in. Also even if I get a return Label for my old phone, I would prefer to go to the store and do the trade-in. I have had bad experiences with AT&T returns thru mail.

Are you seeing your phone not showing on the order anymore? We received my wifes phone the 16th and about Friday last week her phone no longer show up on the order but my 7+ JB 256GB is still "Preparing to Ship"
Everytime I've called AT&T for the past week they have told me my order was 'preparing to ship' like the website says. The past two calls they have both said my order is 'in progress'. What is the difference in preparing to ship and in progress to AT&T? Anything?
Same here, my wife got her phone on 9/20 and sometime this weekend it was deleted from the order status page.

i'm not sure what you mean. i placed two seperate orders with ATT on the night of the launch at 3am Atl time. mine went through without a problem, his was where i had the issue, i even placed an order on apple site for his as well but ended up cancelling the apple order and just kept it through att. when i checked the email again mine was removed i guess because it shipped and i have it and his still shows "Preparing to ship"
