How did you order it 7 minutes before the launch time (3am EST)?
[doublepost=1473748480][/doublepost]
The same thing happened to me a couple years ago with AT&T when preordering the iPhone 6. The only thing I'm worried about is my order status hasn't changed yet. If I were getting it on launch day, I think the shipping process would have started by now. I'm figuring if I don't get a shipping notification by Tuesday night, my launch day dreams are over.

Refreshing the site a few times, it clicked on, was able to put it on my cart then it clicked back on after refreshing the page. and was able to send it and I still got shipping dates of 9/30 to 10/07.

Still unable to track on ups or fedex, or support page on apple.

Mine is similar to yours I ordered a little after you but have 1 day sooner ship date? These damn things make no sense
Is this for a JB+ or a matte +? I finished my order right around 11:55 pm pacific for a matte 256 + and received a shipping window at the beginning of week two (9-23/9-30). I'm hopeful about getting it a bit sooner.

No one but those whom purchased direct from Apple have any tracking data at all. When those UPS cargo planes start leaving Louisville for Dallas, we'll know there will finally be some movement inside the ATT system. Not until then.

I placed mine at 3:57AM for the iPhone 7 Plus 256 GB Jet Black and I have a ship date of Sep30-Oct 7th. Min ehas been saying preparing to ship ever since.

Are these all iPhones?
Mainly the UPS flights, although I did read that Apple went beyond just UPS Cargo, it charted other airlines planes as well. It certainly looks like there are phones being shipped tonight from the UPS Hub in Louisville to the AT&T warehouse facility in Dallas. Shouldn't be long now before we see some order status updates coming.

Having worked my entire career in logistics I marvel at the fact that Apple is able to get their products in the hands of their consumers so quickly. I think I heard somewhere that Apple completely turns over it's entire inventory almost once a week. It must be a logistics nightmare every year for the people involved in this.

It is amazing. I feel this way about Amazon as well. Apple's fulfillment partnership with UPS for all preorder launches truly gives them an advantage over the carriers. UPS handles everything from delivery from China to the dropship of inventory in Louisville, and shipments direct to consumers. An apple orderee can track their phone all the way from it's leaving a Foxconn facility in China, to its loading on a particular UPS cargo jet enroute to the UPS hub in Louisville via the Anchorage US Customs stop, and the handoff to the regional sorting facility, and finally to the ground drivers who do the actual home deliveries. Mind boggling.

Sweet. Haven't seen an ATT JB+ ship date this early.

I have the same shipping dates and my order was placed at 3:32am after a failed attempt because it was supposed to be sept 23-30. But I'm pretty sure I saw someone with the dates Sept 23- Sept30 with the same phone

what is the significance of the plane info?
[doublepost=1473763558][/doublepost]this order status error page is worse now. I tried two different browsers and my phone - all errors

Back in June I ordered an ipad pro from ATT on a Thursday the 9th at 8:33am(not a pre-order) and it gave me an estimated shipping of 6/14-6/16 with the same statement: "We expect to ship your item(s) by the date(s) listed in the order summary below." I was in Virginia at the time and would be driving home to Atlanta the next day so I was glad for the shipping delay so i had time to get back. However, I was shocked the next day with a fedex tracking number saying it would be delivered that afternoon while I was driving back. 4 Days sooner than the shipping by date. I had to haul a$$ home so it wouldnt be sitting on the porch for hours and possibly get stolen. So it has been my experience that the estimate is complete crap... wiggle room, more or less. It wasn't a high demand pre-order, but it was an instance where the ship date meant nothing and i got it days in advance. Not to get hopes up or speculate.... but isn't speculation and finding the patterns and unraveling the logistics of the industry the only fun thing about waiting?

I'm happy for you all getting progress JB 128gb no movement 04-10 oct. no reference no nada, oe comfirm 2:14am since traffic issues -_-.

Any who the wait continues!

Grats for the jet black plus being del Friday

I don't think anyone who ordered a 7 plus in this thread has a delivery date for Friday - I think the earliest date we've seen is 9/23

Fedex is heavily involved as well. They may not deliver the phone to doorsteps, but they are invlved in the import/export portion, as I am sure other carriers are as well.

For the black ones maybe, but I ordered a rose gold and have a 9/16 delivery date.

set my alarm for 2am like usual. Ordering was supposed to go live at 3am eastern. Got in to order and got to a page that said the site is undergoing maintenance from 1am to 3am ct.

I live on the east coast so the site wouldn't let me order. Finally ordered at 4:03am eastern time. 7plus 128 matte black. Delivery date of 9/30-10-7.

Again another mess up by att.

I love how try tell you one thing and then not let you in the site for an hour later due to maintenance.

How is this a mess up by AT&T if others were able to order right at launch?

Most of us that order this variation have the same date range.

Yeh I have a feeling they knew matte black would be a big seller based on space gray the most popular color. They probably build more than the other colors.

My Plus black 128 is 9/23 to 9/30. Ive seen people the next morning with that date range too even.
