So my co-worker said he simply went to the ATT site and scheduled the first appointment of the day for the 16th to pick up an iPhone 7 Plus. Why didn't I think of that? I forgot ATT took appointments. All the appointments are taken now dangit.

Ordered mine a lil later than most of you, a decent ship date for black 128gb. May see it fri. we'll see:)

I ordered mine at 1 o'clock in the afternoon on the 9th and got that same shipping time frame. I was trying to decide whether to try to buy it in store on Launch Day.

FYI to anyone searching for their order and the website saying that it can't find it... make sure you put the first 2 numbers of the order number and then the dash and then the rest of it just as it shows you in your email because if you leave out the dash you will get that error.
 
I apologize if this has been asked/answered. I reviewed posts from the last two days and didn't see it...

I preordered from att and after a nightmare or fraud alerts and glitches on att I finally seemed to place an order. I checked my bank and I had two pending charges for a full price phone, JB+256. No big deal, I know plenty of people who will buy the second one at cost, so I didn't bother to cancel one. I have yet to receive an email confirmation, the two holds are now gone, I can't look up my order status due to various errors from "can't find any orders" to now "our system is down, check later." I've called att and they keep telling me their backend is getting updated and can't check my orders. Is it safe to assume I'm NOT getting a phone at this point from them?

tl;dr anyone else not get any email confirmation and have pending charges vanish?

I've seen a lot of peoples' holds go away, as they don't actually charge you until the phones are shipped. The AT&T site has been down for most. Only weird thing is no confirmation email...although depending when you ordered it could just be the website issues delaying confirmation emails.
 
Things will finally start to get interesting tomorrow/Thursday when shipment notifications start going out.

The unknown is the part that sucks. Undoubtedly a lot of people are going to be receiving AT&T orders on launch day, regardless of what your shipping time frame says. Just the way it is with AT&T.

I've had this happen before when trying to place an order. The first hold was a soft hold and for some reason cancelled and then the second charge was kicked back because of having already had the same charge in the account. I had that happen with the ipad pro last year and it took several days to drop off my account and I had to order using a different account since the charges pending wouldn't let it process another charge from att. I too had thought one of the orders had to have gone through but if you don't get a confirmation number and the charges are gone and you can't search for the order anywhere, it doesn't exist. I completely understand the frustration... luckily the charges fell off quickly! I had 2 ipad pro charges worth of funds tied up for days and I was out of town... I was quite ticked. Here's another thing... if you pay your phone bill in one account, if you try to place an order and use that same payment method it can sometimes do the same thing so if I pay att with one card and want to buy something i use a different card so it's not looking like multiple charges in the same account. The reason my charges got kicked back last year was because i paid off a next plan and paid my bill so after 2 charges were already pending in my account ATT and my bank kicked it back thinking it was accidental. In the end I called a human being and had them put in my order and take a new card over the phone and all went smoothly and my ipad actually arrived 4 days before the shipping window they had quoted me in the confirmation. Good Luck!
 
I am not able to log into AT&T profile. (Last night atleast I was able to log into my AT&T profile and then check my order status).
So now I have high hopes. And I also read that UPS flight arrived into Dallas this morning. So I am hoping that they start updating the tracking number.
 
I ordered on 9/10 at around 8AM. Got a 7 Plus 128GB in Black. Surprisingly, my delivery range is October 7-14, especially considering others who ordered the same model minutes after the site went up got a later range than me. Mine says preparing to ship, but I think the shipping dates are just totally screwed up.
 
I am seriously annoyed and wondering what is up with the order status page. This is going on about 12 hrs of errors at least.

Earlier I was able to check the status using Wireless Number and Zip Code or from AT&T profile page. But now none of them are working. I am getting below error.

Anyone trying to get on the site to see their order...I can still pull up mine by going to att.com/checkmyorder and entering my order # and zip code. Hasn't changed, 7 + Jet Black 128 GB, still 10/14-10/21, ordered 9/9 at 3:01 AM ET.

For me it is not working. I have iphone 7 128 GB JB. I am getting error.

Thank you, I finally got ahold of someone at AT&T who took the time to research my order and you are correct, I have no order(s) now. She said it had to do with placing two orders so the system flagged it as a mistake and cancelled them both(!?). Anyway it looks like I'm waiting a couple months or going to wait in line. I've waited in line at an AT&T corporate store and was first in line at 6am so it wasn't too bad. If not I'll get it soon enough...
 
Ok. Thanks. We are so paranoid of iphone 7 shipping, that any outages we are linking to updating order status. lol......
I still have a weird feeling they're connected - I have tried every conceivable way to pull up my order (w/shipping estimate of Oct 14-21) and it comes up just fine. Others with more favorable shipping dates can't get their orders to come up. Hmm.
