I pre-ordered a 7+ 128GB Jet Black on September 13th and still no movement and still "in progress" one week from tomorrow it will be a month since I pre-ordered! This is getting ridiculous. Is anyone getting any movement that ordered on the 13th or near the 13th?

I feel very fortunate. Ordered a 7P Black 256 GB 9/29am. Just received FedEx info, shipped for delivery tomorrow.

Me. ..lol *6737# this morning shows my silver went to back order but shows online that my order is still in progress... I just chatted with an order specialist via at&t chat and she stated that my order is actually still in progress and to disregard the text from *6737#. Seriously what is the point then off using the text option ????

because at&t is nuts. who would think a backorder is good. that's what it should be saying until they get the phone then it should say preparing to ship
I work for AT&T in a retail store. I've always been told and tell customers to use the check my order status page for the best results. I have called in before to my retail support team to ask about my own 7plus and it took them forever to find the correct order and told me they couldn't find it. It's straight incompetence. I checked through our flow system for my order and it was right there in the pending phase still. Some of the customer service reps are better than others but most can't help and in the end will say they're transferring you somewhere and you'll end up in the billing department every time.
I guess I am just now realizing the difference in pixel quality from the 6S Plus to the 7 Plus. For example, my SwiftKey keyboard background is of the night sky with animated shooting stars. On my 6S Plus, the background looked more purple, but on here it appears to be more of a midnight blue with some minor purple tones.
Also, now that I have put the case I ordered from Amazon on my 7 Plus, I have decided that I don't really love it on this iPhone. Don't get me wrong, I like the case itself, but it covers most of the back of the phone and I would like to show off that I have the jet black model!
Makes no sense for me to return it due to the case costing less than $8.00 (+$11.00 in tax and shipping).
I think I may order a clear case with green buttons that is also from Amazon and around the same price. I also posted an image of another case that I kind of like, which is also clear.
Plus, while the cut out on the case I'm using now does fit the dual lenses and such, the bottom part of the lenses is touching the bottom part of the cut out. I made sure that it didn't interfere with the camera at all, but something as minor as that kind of bugs me.
Furthermore, the cut out where the mute/ringer switch on the side is deeper than I anticipated. Meaning that I can't just simply flick the switch, but have to kind of dig my finger in there to reach it. (I really hope that I am making sense or describing this accurately!
)
When I pre-ordered my iPhone 7 Plus, I figured that I would just order the 128GB since I thought that would be more than enough space (there were times when I had to delete apps or videos to free up space for my 6S Plus).
This may sound weird, but ever since I literally downloaded approximately 50GB of episodes and movies from iCloud, I now have a little over 40GB remaining and feel like I could fill that up pretty quickly. It's funny because when I had the same amount on my 64GB 6S Plus, I thought that was an enormous amount of space! Haha!
Lastly, I tried checking to see if I could hear any sort of hissing noise when I recorded a video.
UPDATE: I had to find a video on YouTube to actually hear what this "hiss" sounds like. Based on what they heard, I can safely say that my iPhone does not have a hissing problem. I think when I said earlier that I recorded a short video in my house and everything was quiet, I believe what I may have heard then was simply some almost inaudible white noise.

I have taken my case off a few times to admire the JB. It is amazing!!!

Yep, the black/clear one. Think it will look good with the mb. I have had the Apple leather case on my 6 for two years now. I really like it, but really wanted something to show off the phone this time. I will let you know once I get it!I have too! yes I would love to see it? I otterbox I May put on when I get home. The bottom of it like bottom 1/4 is black leather but that would show off the JB. Still in processing hell... ordered 9/9 7AM 128 JB Plus. Would like to see some movement here soon. Don't think I will be ordering through AT&T again. I will go through Apple directly.

I was considering before getting a clear case with a kickstand from Spigen.
The kickstand was what I liked on my old CaseMate case that I got for free from AT&T two years ago as part of some promo offer. However, since the kickstand itself was pretty thin and made out of plastic, it snapped off after using it for a while.
Back to the Spigen case... People were saying in their reviews on Amazon that the kickstand slightly protruded out, which caused it to not be flush when placed on top of a flat surface. Furthermore, a couple of others mentioned that the case had a tendency to sort of form air bubbles and can eventually stained over time/turned yellow, which isn't all that appealing if you ask me.
My first iPhone case for the 6 Plus two years ago was a very simple clear case from Insignia. As I think about it now, I am kind of surprised that I actually paid $14.99 for it! ...Then again, there were hardly any cases for the 6 Plus at that time, so it makes sense.
After a while that case did appear as if it were stained just the tiniest bit, but it was hardly noticeable.
I look forward to seeing what your case looks like on your precious JB!

Mine JB 7+ 128 was ordered at 8am EST on 9/9. Still no movement, but looks like it could go backordered any moment based on this thread.
