I have a few quick questions for those who already received your iPhones.

1.) For those of you who have received your phones within the past day or so, did you ever get charged?

2.) If so, when?

3.) Are any of you a part of the AT&T Next program, where you have to send in your old phone as soon as your new one arrives?

4.) If so, do you take your SIM card out of your old phone before mailing it back to AT&T?

I've always mailed them my old phone as soon as I got the new one, but I can't recall as to whether or not they have asked for you to remove the SIM card from your own iPhone?

I've always just erased all of my content and settings prior to doing a factory reset and then shipped my old phone back.

I guess what I'm asking is this:

Have you had to remove the SIM card from your old iPhone before sending it back to AT&T?

I've never done that, but I'm curious as to if you guys have removed your old SIM.

Anyway, let me know! Thank you in advance! :)

I was charged last Wednesday for the taxes, didn't notice a hold or anything before that, phone came Thursday.

I sent it back, didn't do anything with the SIM. Although on Saturday my phone randomly said there was no SIM attached and I went to AT&T and waited like 45 minutes only to find out it was just loose. He literally just took it out and put it back in.

At your office!? How did you do that?

Before I made the order i changed my address on the account to my office instead of my home that way they ship it here. I do that every year and have never had any problems. Intentalo para la proxima. Yo trabajo en la torre Chardon, are you close?

So update on my Best Buy order...

It appears that UPS has sorted my package incorrectly and it will not be delivered today as anticipated and says to expect a delay of at least one business day. This order has been a nightmare from start to finish.

Man I'm sorry to read that. I would be losing it!

My phone just shipped!! Roughly 30 hours after hitting backorder mine is the JB 128 7+ and I had 10/28-11/4 shipping dates hopefully the people who had the same shipping dates hit backorder or shipped soon.

I really need to stop typing while I am half asleep. I honestly do not know what the hell I just posted earlier (not the part where I asked about being charged and the SIM card). Haha...

I haven't been charged yet. I'm on next and I never change the SIM. Just activate the one that comes with the phone through the website

Kind of! I work in Miramar but live really close to el Coliseo Miguel Agrelot... I think I'm going to try asking for the package at the post office anyway since they close at 6. Wish me luck!!

Enjoy your beautiful phone!

You should try that! Hopefully you can get it! I will be around to see if you can get it. Let us know!

AT&T customer but I can't check the 6737 because I had another phone in the same order that is already active. I have to call the 866 number and rely on AT&T CS which is hit and miss as to what they say.

You can still check *6737# using the phone number. That will specifically give the status of your phone, right ?

Not bad for an Otterbox! I like it!

Speaking of cases, I am so lucky that I have one on my iPhone right now... Phone slipped out of my hand (really need to stop holding my phone when I am half asleep) and fell onto the tile floor. That was how my fiancé cracked our iPad Mini screen a few years ago!
I rarely, if ever, drop my phone -- so whenever I do I start to freak out!

Luckily it fell with the back of the phone facing the ground. No harm done! It wasn't even that high of a drop, but I would argue that if my case wasn't on right now then this story would have had a much more disappointing ending. Haha!

(Still want to get a different case though. :p)

I just ordered this one that has little plastic bump things on the inside, hopefully it'll fix my issue with my plastic case sticking to the back and causing an oily effect.

So many JB 7s in stock all around the Bay Area at the Apple Store. What the hell AT&T. Ordered mine on 9/10 still in progress with an ETA of 10/14-10/21.

This is the problem with Apple. They stock the store when you have customers that have ordered and still waiting????

I got charged the taxes the day my phone came to my house, yesterday. I have to turn in my 6s to att. I never take the sim out. I just reset , erase all content and settings, and I take a pic of the shipping label so I have proof I sent it back.

I think this is the whole deal about Apple promising phones being available for IUP or walk in customers at their own retail....

I've seen pretty good amount of stock being available through istocknow.com which I"m waiting on... kills me to see people can just walk in and out to pick up their phones while there are BUNCH of people who ordered ahead of time and still desperate to receiving theirs...
