One of my phones has a friday delivery but yesterday I got an email saying oct 14th. It won't let me check order status so when I called today the lady said I was still scheduled to ship out on thursday. So I guess I will wait and see.

One of my phones has a friday delivery but yesterday I got an email saying oct 14th. It won't let me check order status so when I called today the lady said I was still scheduled to ship out on thursday. So I guess I will wait and see.
Making these claims will only be considered "trolling" if you don't show proof. Screenshot proof - or it didn't happen... plain and simple.
Oh good I feel better. Same order 2:53 EDT here. no movements or tracking for either ups or fedex.
Considering the only 2 people claiming shipped status joined Macrumors in the last 2 days?

ATT wouldn't ship 2 phones out 3 days before from the US; and ATT ships from Texas not Kansas.

preordered a 7 plus. expected shipping is mid october. can i camp thursday night, get a new iphone and cancel the preorder?
The absolute "earliest" we've heard any legit shipping updates in the last two years has been late Wednesday afternoon into evening depending which coast you are on. Mark my words there'll be no changes through much of the day tomorrow either.

I spoke with my brother who works at an AT&T Customer Service center and they do not have any more information than the rest of us. He's a supervisor at one of the centers you reach when you call to pay your bill, order phones, get tech support, etc. He said the iPhone 7 Jetblack is of course going to be delayed for a lot of people in just about any configuration but especially 128/256 7 and 7 Plus. They hadn't received any word about people being notified, or how accurate the shipping time frames are.
Tomorrow is a new day, and hopefully we start seeing updates on the AT&T Website. I asked him to report back tomorrow if there are any new developments about orders starting to ship & how to track them prior to getting a tracking number. Wish I had more information just as I know all of you do as well!! I hope we all get our notices tomorrow that our shiny new toys are on their way!!

I honestly could see it coming anytime from the weekend after this to the following weekend at the latest. With all of my experience that seems very reasonable.
I've had and seen this error a lot. I don't think there's really a quick fix but I noticed that sometimes it would only pull it up if I searched by the order number (my order has two order numbers that are significantly different. One from the confirmation email and a different one on myAT&T. Both worked to pull it up) . Other times it would come up if I only searched by the phone number. I'd try both and see if either one works!
I pre-ordered my galaxy s6 edge two years ago with AT&T and I also got tracking information from FedEx back then. I think this is their preferred carrier service. Currently on the phone with FedEx setting up my delivery manager account since their website was having issues. I got in but I don't see anything yet lol! Im going to turn on all notifications

I have the 256gb plus matte black, ordered at 3:05AM still in preparing to ship status with a date of 23-30.
I come with some news, take it or leave it, but... a coworker of mine is telling me he has been closely monitoring Verizon (he ordered through them) threads, and facebook posts, and he's seeing people trickle in that have been getting bumped from Sept 23 to Sept 16 dates for their 128gb and 256gb matte black plus iPhones. Good news. If things are moving along on their end I can only assume it's the same for AT&T. I'll check back in again if I see any movement on my personal order. Fingers crossed and good luck to all

Same for me I heard earlier it had nothing to do with order status updates but one could hope!!!

Anytime I have ever preordered for a launch day delivery, ATT has shipped out of Fort Worth,TX. For devices that have already been out a little bit, AT&T has always shipped from Memphis,TN. Possibly because I live in TN though.
