Yeah I actually ordered it over the phone from a friend at AT&T so it was just like a in store purchase but shipping to my house. I ordered the 7+ Matte 128gb, from why I can tell everyone with that same combo got that date. Even when I talked to him at like 8 in the morning, they were only showing the 23-30th dates for that setup

ugh been trying to set up fedex delivery manager for like 3 hrs says system is unavailable. How do I search by reference? would that work too?

Yeah it seems they set estimates for every combo. I appreciate you lightening up the thread haha I wish jet black were piano black.

No one has found an AT&T order based on a reference. People who ordered on Apple.com have been able to search their phone number as a reference on ups.

I already had a fedex account setup from last year. This morning I went in and turned on the notification for everything. 2 hours later I got the text.

bottom right has options to email/text/call (< - I activated them all)

The PO and invoice number are on the fedex tracking page; I cannot find the same numbers in any ATT order email. I did read on gizmodo that UPS allows you to search by reference number and your phone number is supposed to work. I tried that on fedex.com and was not successful. I tried the ATT order number well and was not successful....the actual tracking number works. It's in Lenexa Kansas and is shipping Fedex home delivery to California.

One other item that is usually a good indicator is if the charge posted; they do not collect your money until it's shipped as far as I know. The credit card charge is what I usually use as my indicator the order is coming.

Thank you for the info. Apparently Delivery Manager is currently down at the moment ( go figure) but ill keep checking. I still have the pending charge, it has no posted yet. I ordered at 3:14 EST so I am hoping mine will be loaded up soon. Again thanks for the info, I am sure you are helping out more people than just myself.
 
Changing up the pace of the conversation a little bit here... I'm a rep at an AT&T authorized retailer and I can't give away exact numbers but basically the POs that I can see for my store have an excess amount of 7's in all varietys. We have yet to get a PO with any plus's. This could be indicative of a backorder or a clog up on the back end but there is still 2 more days for us to get some more. Just thought I'd pass along the info! If I noticed any new movement I'll be sure to share

Thank you baby Jesus to whomever recommended setting up a FedEx account. I logged into mine that I'd forgotten about and activated alerts. Received an alert that mine is set for Friday delivery!! I can rest easy now. ATT would relieve a lot of people's anxiety if they updated their info. They could have saved me from neurotically checking order status every few hours. If you ordered within the first few hours of pre-order, you're likely getting your phone Friday.

A fellow in here earlier mentioned what a ATT district manager said- I believe they mentioned that AT&T resellers are going to get very limited quantity, so that makes sense. I believe for the online masses, they will have a decent amount but who knows, I'm just a Android guy that switched over to the iphone and pre-ordered this year and doesnt know anything lol...... :)

Is there a spot on FedEx's website that shows your delivery? What would the link be? I can't seem to find it.

I did see that post as well! I was trying to figure out if he was talking in regards to 3rd party retailers solely, like bestbuy, Walmart etc. or authorized retailers as well. Honestly don't know, they don't tell us anything lol. Speculation is fun but only time will tell!
 
I tried signing up for a FedEx account and it was glitchy, and when it kept trying to validate me, it was asking me questions about people I don't even know. I think when I shared my location it obviously used the wrong one, and now I am locked out of registering for delivery manager for a few days.
 
7+ 256 Rose Gold. I placed my order at 3:05AM on 9/9 and I'm being told it's shipping 9/23-9/30. My status is "prepared to ship". Been like that since Friday. Anyone else having this issue? Ordered thru AT&T website.

which phone though? jet black 128+ ? or does anyone with that model have the alert from fedex? i just signed up, but theres no alert to my phone yet and no deliveries to me on the tracking through fedex delivery manager page
