Normally my combination is Apple Leather case unless I'm at like a sporting event or a concert and will be out and about which is when I slap on a Tech21.

Sometimes Mophie when traveling to avoid any battery limitations throughout the day and commute.

I've tried and tried with iPhone cases, and it just doesn't work for me. The iPhone 7 will be my sixth iPhone I've owned now and each one before it I've always gone without a case. I've tried a few in the past but I always end up taking them off. For me, I just have always loved the feel of the phone in my hand; the iPhone 4S and 5 I remember were particular for me because it felt like holding such a premium product. With the 7 Matte black that I have currently, again, just gorgeous to look at aside from the feel. This black color with a black wallpaper is incredible and to cover it up with a case just wouldn't be the same.

My wife, on the other hand, has always had a case because she tends to drop it. She uses the dreaded Otterbox, well dreaded for me because it would also bulk up the phone and I prefer to have it just go right into my pocket without any bulge. The Otterbox is phenomenal don't get me wrong, that thing is remarkable at protection and my wife's iPhone looked brand new after almost 2 years in that thing but not for me. And lets not forget, this is now water resistant so it makes it so that I won't have to worry about taking it out when it rains :)

I may still try to get the most minimalist case for the iPhone 7 just to protect it from scratches but something tells me it won't last very long :).....

I would love to use my Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus without a case but I'm so scared of scratching it. Haha!! I'm currently using a clear case from SPIGEN. It looks really nice on my phone but i do feel like it takes away the matte black finish. It doesn't look as matte when the clear case is on so i have to remove the case to show my family and friends the new Matte Black colour.

Been using my 7 Plus black naked since day one, no scratches or drops. I'm usually pretty careful with my electronics especially iPhones.

I always keep my iPhones naked and I've never had an issue, you just have to think about your phone before you use it and you shouldn't have any issues besides tripping or if you're doing something that can cause issues (exercise, etc). Whenever I tired to use cases they seemed to trap dirt, sand, little particles and so on which look nasty and probably leaves little to big scratches on the phone.

Just be intelligent about using your phone naked:

1. Don't put it somewhere with ANYTHING else, I use my front right pocket with nothing in it. I don't care how good the new Gorilla glass is or what special coating is on it, etc. Just keep it alone so nothing besides the inside of your pants pockets, purse, etc can rub up against it.

2. Be careful when getting in and out of your car, this seems to be one of the biggest issues that people have when dropping their phone. Just pay attention its simple and if you have something in your hands then stop...put the stuff down...put your phone in your pocket...then continue and get in your vehicle.

3. When you lay your phone down just look at where you plan to lay it, very simple. When you have a case you tend to just put your phone on the counter, table, etc but when you go naked you have to look first and a quick brush with your hand to clean any crumbs away is enough.

4. If your hands are wet, if you just put on lotion, have something on your hands (sauce, oil, butter, etc) or if your hands aren't dry then think first before handling your phone because it will more than likely slip out and bounce off the ground.

Concerning #3, do you lay your phone screen down or camera down?

I'm currently using my MB 7+ naked, I will be getting a cover though. When I had my 6+ I had a greyhound knock it off my lap and cracked the screen within of a couple of weeks of having it. That really hurt hard. But I've still never directly broken my screen by dropping it gladly.

Always go caseless!

I currently have a clear TPU case for my Jet Black 7+, but I'm going to return it and get a red silicone case for when I'm out and about and will be holding it for awhile. (Mainly Pokémon Hunting sessions). Otherwise, it is stark naked. Also have AppleCare+ on it.

This matte black Plus is beautiful to look at, but it is one slippery little booger. The back feels like glass. My Apple light blue leather case will be here tomorrow, and this baby is going right in it. I may go naked at home but out in the wild, this thing is like a wet bar of soap in my hands.

SMH @ all these people who purchased the Jet Black 7 or 7+ for its "beauty" only to cover it up with an Apple leather case.

Let the truth be told. You purchased the JB color strictly for resale down the road and nothing else. Y'all aren't fooling anyone. Cut the BS.

strictly for resale?

haha...the truth? GRIP! thats the MAIN reason I choose for the jetblack.

Here's another one in your way of thinking...Everyone who choose a matte black iPhone either like to choose to carry around a slippery soapblock (naked), or put it one of those fugly cases

I have a matte black 7 and I only have it in a bumper and nothing else. No lame screen protector or one of those ridiculous bulky cases. Also it's no less slippery than my previous Space Grey 6S (when naked).

yeah you're right, I also had the 6S prior the 7. The 6S was everthing except slippery :rolleyes:

I use my iPhone SE naked. The beauty of Apple designs shouldn't be disguised all the time. When I'm not using the phone, I have it in a leather pouch (sort of like an eyeglass pouch) then toss it in my bag.

You must have tentacles for fingers then. Congrats.

all those people on the internet with the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S telling these iPhone's are slippery and feel like soapblocks are all false. I guess all those thousands people were holding it wrong

Good point. I'll go on YouTube to check out videos on how to hold an iPhone 6S..... right after I finish viewing some breastfeeding tutorial videos.
