Just to follow up my earlier post, I was told that a manager would call me back in an hour, which obviously didn't happen so I have just called again. Again I was told that the phone would be delivered tomorrow but held to speak to a manager who advised the text was correct and the phone will be delayed until 10th October. I pointed out that 3 of his colleagues had lied to me which he then said 'surely you have made mistakes in your life' !!!! I was then transferred, at my request, to Customer Relations and they confirmed that the phone will be delayed. They've offered a 50% reduction in my first bill and a small reduction in my ongoing monthly payment! I'd rather have the phone though.

Awful customer service. Glad you got some kind of compensation, at least.

Seems to be the thing with Three. Decent prices and 3/4g speeds but customer services are poor.
Best I have found have been the support channel via Twitter.

Yeah it's not on. Feel let down by Three, I certainly won't recommend them anymore.

Hopefully you guys will recieve your iPhones last minute like me, I even asked support day before I got my iPhone (yesterday) and the rep said 7th Oct regardless of what date support says to you they seem kind've crappy with their systems tbh. Very conservative - But reading this does make me hold back from upgrading in 2 years time as they obviously treat newer customers first which to me is not good nor nice to hear about, sorry for the kuffule this is for you.

1:19 PM Sphoorty As I see the estimated time frame for Apple iPhone 7 is anytime between 16-Sep-2016 till 14-Oct-2016.

I've got this from the webchat - he confirmed that this includes 7 pluses.
 
This will definitely be my last contract with Three. The complete upgrade process has been a nightmare. It's buying outright from Apple next time!

Three doesn't surprise me anymore, I used to work for them in a retail store and the systems are crazy, they're 13 years old still running on windows 2000 or whatever it was. Customer services are usually rude and in retail stores customers are just numbers and even management used to make is missell to customers and tell them whatever they want to hear in order to get contracts. They will sell you dreams and let customer relations deal with complaints after.

Wow, that isn't good. I've made a complaint with Three although I'm not sure that anything will come from that.

Edit: Been chatting with Three CS again today and managed to get a better tariff so that's made me a bit happier with Three. Will save me £3 a month but now have unlimited data too :)

Some info from the webchat. For the 7 plus 128GB jet black the date was stated as 28th of October.
 
Just checking in since having played around with my iPhone from Three for a bit now.

Very happy with this iPhone. Not noticing any of the defects some people had mentioned with their iPhone 7's, such as the audible, buzzing coil whine; sharp edges between the aluminium and glass of the body; or a yellow display.

I don't know, and couldn't find out, how to figure out the manufacture week of my iPhone from the serial number... If anyone can tell me how to do it, I'll of course post that here, too.

I gave the iPhone a look over, and I did notice a minuscule chip of the aluminium back, near the top of the display. It's a shame, but this doesn't bother me – especially as I'm using a case (the back is far too slippery not to).

I may well be having the same issue as many on the Three network, where the iPhone won't connect to 4G reliably. I'm in a mostly 3G area for the next couple days, so I can't be sure.

Again, hope everyone gets their iPhones soon (early, even).

Just finished a web chat with Three. They have confirmed that I will receive my phone on 10th October. Still don't believe anything Three tell me though!

Yeah it doesn't look promising especially when apple delivery times are at 2-3weeks but I'm trying to remain optimistic
 
I got fed up with waiting and got one from carphone warehouse. They have a stock of 7 pluses 256GB (all colors apart from jet black).

I know that pre-orders get it before other buyers, but for the 7+ in Silver (32GB) it said November 4th. The last time I spoke to Three through their web chat, they told me it will be here on the 28th of October. After this, I decided to not even talk to them, and just to wait, until it actually comes.

I'm kinda annoyed to be honest.

Update/Edit: I just spoke with an advisor, and he told me the 14th of October. That sounds much better.

All EE's fault too! Ordered at 8.05am on pre order day, had email confirmation etc - rung on the Sunday to check everything was ok to be told that there was a glitch with the order and it hadn't been processed!

So I ended up having to place a new order with three two days later :(

Make sure you haggle some goodies from EE from them messing up your order.
