DPD Took my phone for a wee drive today Jet Black 128GB didn't attempt delivery when i last tracked it stated being returned to sender!! Called 3 Sales team who to be fair couldn't explain what went wrong and guaranteed a new handset for Monday....just received my email confirming phone arriving Monday now given the stock levels and so called worldwide shortage of Jet Black models it's amazing 3 can dispatch a phone before even receiving the other one back...lol

Just wondered if you got your phone today....? Hope you did!

Bit off topic but has anyone else who has the iPhone 7 struggled to get 4G? I can constantly get 3G yet 4G will randomly appear for a few seconds and then go back to 3G. Technical support have been using with trying to assist

Not posted in this thread as I didn't order my 7 with Three (ordered directly from Apple) but I'm having that same issue. I haven't contacted Three yet but mine loves to stay on 3G and I have to force it to use 4G by toggling 4G on and off. Doing that also sometimes kills my cellular connection altogether seemingly as although it'll show I've got maybe 4 bars of 3G, there will be no connection. Hope it's fixed soon.

That's exactly what's happening with me

Have either of you had 6 / 6S's? I've had the same experience on both Three and O2 across my 6 Plus and 6S Plus. If there's a poorer 4G signal, but a better 3G signal, they've tended to lock onto 3G.

Yes, I had both a 6 and 6s on Three and they worked fine for the most part. The 6 had a few issues early on but they got resolved via an iOS update at the time. 6s was flawless throughout, it tended to stay on 4G for long periods even when the signal was down to 1 bar 4G. It would drop back to 3G if it had to though.

Ah okay. Shucks. :(

I know there's also reports of a "No Signal" bug too after cycling airplane mode. Definitely worth reporting to both Three and Apple, the more reports they get the quicker they'll get to the root cause and fix it (even if it turns out to be hardware and it means replacing the handsets, the sooner you start the sooner it will happen).

I've moved from O2 (had absolutely no issues for signal with) to Three. Only reason I moved was because of the cheap £9 a month SIM only deal, I'm currently in the middle of getting my old number transferred over and I thought that could potentially have something to do with it. I get 3G everywhere I go even though the coverage maps indicate I should be getting amazing 4G coverage. Very frustrating.

I feel your pain. I had a similar experience the other way round with O2 last year. :(

Hope you get it sorted ASAP!

I still think it's strange that I didn't receive that delay text. I upgraded, and to the same phone as you, but a 128GB model.

What time did you order/upgrade? I did so around 9:40am on the 9th.

I have a 32GB Black matte sitting here and its a nice looking phone only problem is it locked to EE and i like my 3 number and tariff as I used to be on 1 of the old Three One plans from years back so when they stopped them I haggled a great deal and refuse to give it up lol

Hey guys, late to the party. Fashionably late.

I called up Three at 8am on the dot to upgrade to a 128GB 7 Plus, Jet Black. The advisor told me I was the very first caller of the day, congratulated me, etc. He then told me the estimated date for delivery would be October 7th. Sound right to any of you? This happened with them 2 years ago when I upgraded to the 6 Plus - they told me I would have to wait 3 weeks for delivery - it actually arrived after 6 days. Based on previous experience, I'm hopeful.

I ordered a Matt black 128gb 7 on a new contract at 1400 on the 9th and it was delivered to store for me to collect on the 16th

I have no 4G in Milton Keynes now with my Iphone 7. I used to get superfast speeds but now only 6mbps :-(

We all need to report this to 3

I'm hoping as stocks seem to be arriving in the UK that I get a call from my local Three store in the next few days saying mine has arrived. I ordered the 256GB Jet Black, first in the store on pre order day and have currently been told 4th November

I didn't order until later in the evening (20:34) on the 9th.... That's why I went up to the 256GB from the 128GB (though I'm glad I did now) - because it was still showing for delivery on the 16th.

I used to be on The One Plan. I gave it up quite easily (though did get a deal at the time) --- but only because I realised that whilst I was tethering I wasn't going over 4GB tethering. It's immaterial now though as I spent a year away with O2.

There's a separate thread - it might be useful for you: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/uk-iphone-7-plus-wont-connect-to-4g.1997617/

But yes, definitely report it to Three too!

Ordered 7 plus JB 128gb in store for upgrade, around 11am on launch day, 7 October store pick up, has anyone had this date then been told it's coming sooner?
