Poops, i thought I had fixed my 4g problem by resetting network settings but its gone back to 3g again, not impressed.
I'm upgrading, still given the 7th for 7 plus JB, how did you get out of the upfront cost? Lucky you lol. Twitter still saying 7th oct when I keep asking
I'm not sure how I managed it. I told them I expect a great deal as I've been with them for years and have been a loyal customer, hahaha. I wish they'd deliver my phone now!
I went for the Finance offer, so 0% Barclays Partner Finance over 2 years for £34 a month plus their All-you-can-eat (hate that term) £23 a month which is 12 month. But the Barclays part is completely separate. They claim I can upgrade at 12 months but I think they mean I can just settle the finance and start again.
It was as close to Apples IUP as I could get, as the nearest Apple Store in 2 hours away.
Yeah the finance offer is decent. I got my MBA through apple on it. but yeah you will be able to upgrade in 12 months (but you have to give the current phone back in the condition you got it - I think, might be worth checking it out into detail)

Oh and to make it even better! I rang them last night and was told the delivery date has been pushed two weeks to the 7th of October
first order was on the 9th but I changed my order on the 16th an was told delivery for the 23rd.
tbh i'm not that annoyed about the delay, I'm furious that no one bothered to ring me and I'm very glad I didnt have to book a day off work to wait for the package

I just spoke to Three as I had to set up a new direct debit - I asked about the iPhone situation, and was told that they still have received no stock from Apple with regards to iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black - in any size; which is a shame. 7th October looks the most likely date, although she did confirm that it may arrive earlier. Sucks.
Same model as I preordered as an upgrade, and I'm still being quoted the same date as you. Never received a delay text.
I mentioned it earlier in this thread, but when I initially pre-ordered over the phone, I was given the 30th September as the expected date, but was also informed that date could slip to as late as 14th October.
When I called up in the following week, I was given just the 30th September date. I asked the rep if they had any other dates in front of them, and they said they did not.
The most recent time I called, the expected date was still 30th September, but I was told that was the latest date it would arrive, and that the iPhone could come earlier.
It's possible I've just been very unlucky with different statements from different reps, but I think my experience suggests that Apple is communicating back and forth with Three, who have thus been able to tighten their ship dates, and we'll have our iPhones by the 30th.
I suspect it might well be! When I called up Three most recently, I was told my iPhone could come earlier than the quoted 30th September delivery date.
Which model/configuration did you preorder? Edit: Looks like you got two right? "black 32GB 7 and a black 128GB 7+"
Is it the matte black that you ordered for the plus model, and is that the iPhone you were discussing in the chat with Three? Many of us here have preordered the exact same model and configuration.
Matte Black 128GB 7+, MB looks great on the 7. Yeah was discussing the 7+, I popped into a Three store today to see what they had to say. The bloke said mid October, could even be November! I was intrigued to see if that was him playing safe. Looks like it'll be sooner than I thought. Hope I actually get a text. Didn't get one for the 7, I only knew because I downloaded the DPD app.
I wonder if it is Threes issue as people on other carriers are also having issues. That said I was just outside with 5 bars and only 3g, my iPhone 6S+ would have been on 4G without issue.
