Probably not the best, but I'm pretty impressed by it. Taken on a 7+.

Took my 7 Plus for a walk around my neighborhood (Mission) in San Francisco, CA. I focused on only testing the telephoto lens due to actually being close to how the human eyes sees images.

I've mixed emotions about the camera quality. The telephoto lens can actually produce a more "real" looking image than the normal lens but seems to introduce some artifacts and some unwanted noise.

Overall the camera quality is OK but no where near any DSLR PR claim. Far far from it. But a good camera to carry around.

Here's some of my results while exploring. Keep in mind all this pictures are edited using Darkroom and VSCO on iOS. They are edited to fit my personal aesthetic which is images closer to film quality so you'll see some added noise.

I think those are some great pics! Thanks for sharing.

I received my phone at about 5 last night so I didn't have a lot of time to play with it as we had dinner reservations at 7:30. Managed to take this in a very low light French bistro. Don't remember if I edited it at all as I was already on my second glass of red.

I spent a considerable amount of time using the new iPhone + in my local :apple: store today. I like the 7 in general. I'm trying to decide on my upgrade path from my 6+. I really liked the wide lens pics and I loved the 4K video. I'm not sure about the 2X lens. Every pic I took in the store showed weird pixellated artifacts when zooming in compared to the wide lens pics. It could be that the slower f2.8 aperture was the issue at those specific light levels. The pics I've seen online using the 2X lens look better. Also, at some point the native camera app froze and required a reset to clear up. This was right after I did a time-lapse video test.

Awesome picture!!! Well done!

"Stereo" speakers? Have you covered the left one?

Left one? There is no speaker on the left. The other speaker is in the earpiece at the top.

So I've had my phone less than 24 hours and I get ready to go run some errands I put it in my purse like I have done a million times with every iPhone I've ever owned with no screen protector and I get home two hours later pull my phone out to to something and I have a scratch on the screen that is about 2cm long that is deep enough that I can't run off with Screen cleaner WTF!!!!

Damn that sucks.

After having a 6 plus for two years downsized to a 7 jet black 256.

Upon opening it immediately went into a wallet case. The glossy finish looks good and seamless.

No issues with the home button.

Coming from a plus the smaller screen will take getting used to. But so far it's great.
I love the lighter weight, it's more portable, it just feels better.
With my plus making phone calls was always weird trying to find where to line the speaker up to my ear. With the 7 it feels like a phone again.

And the speed is intense. It's so much faster.
Hope everyone enjoys their phones.
Same here. I'm glad I downsized, the size is perfect and very comfy to use.

Where did you get that case, if you don't mind me asking.

Low light pics with the 7 are substantially better than the 6s. Night and day..the difference is amazing.

The Matte is way worse. The jet black looks plasticky but the matte is a fingerprint magnet, much much more so than the jet black is.

That's not been my experience. The Jet Black I handled finger-printed up almost instantly. The matte black was much more resilient to finger print issues, even though the hands of multiple people.

If anyone here owns a iP7 and iP6 or 6s, can you do a side by side comparison of the flash and tell me which one is brighter? I had made another post about it but no one was able to. I am noticing the iP6s is brighter than the iP7 flash and I really would like to know if this is normal or not. I'd really appreciate it as it would save me a ton of trouble trying to get a replacement. You can see my comparison shots bellow

Sorry about that. :(

This is one reason I have a dedicated pocket in my pants (front left) that absolutely nothing goes in but my phone. Might want to consider something similar for your purse.

I got my iPhone7 and iPhone7 plus, too! The dual camera are cool. But I don't like the matt black. Too dark. I prefer silver or gold.
