This. Hopefully, we'll find out in the next 5-6 hours after the first round of UPS jets land in Louisville and Sprint's warehouse checks in their share of the loadsheet.
Guys, the estimated ship dates are all bull. Most of you will have it on release day. All the October / November dates will probably get them next week. All sprint gets are estimates, which are way off. They don't have the stock and apple doesn't give them information so they just say random dates based on quantity preordered.

No tracking, no movement since ordering. Here's hoping my date gets moved up. I remember ordering a 5S years ago that had an extended ship date that I ended up getting on launch.

In terms of the Jet Black models, it's really hard to believe that a Sprint didn't have any on hand, considering the pre-orders began with 10/7 shipping. Plus, I was one of the lucky ones that managed to order within the first few minutes and I don't think everyone chose the same damn model.
No he's right. I don't think you have to wait to November but you might not get it at launch.
Damn I ordered a 7 plus 256 gig and I hope I get it on release day if not hopefully a few days later
My order for a 128 GB Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus was placed at 4:19 a.m. and I am still showing 9/30 as well.
The way it is looking currently, all us Iphone 7 plus people will be receiving our phones after launch. Us 9/30 date people, most likely will not have to wait until then but I doubt we get it at launch. I am still holding out hope but not very optimistic right now.
UPDATE: iPhone 7 32 GB Black ordered on 9/10 through Sprint store; order is received, will deliver as early as 9/16 but no tracking information email sent yet. Just double checked the Sprint website to make sure.
My past experience with Sprint's delivery estimates lead me to think that those who ordered in the first 6-8 hours have a very good chance of receiving their phone on launch day.
had to call Sprint to ask question about a charge appearing on my bill today while on the phone i asked about my pre order she said it appears it'll be delivered on the 16th (a 7 Plus 128gb jet black) but not holding my breathe at all
upgrade been with Sprint since 2010 but like I said I ain't holding my breathe she probably just saying release date as my delivery date
I just talked to a rep over the phone and they told me it was first ordered first delivered
