For those of us that ordered regular 7 models (not plus), I think we have not received tracking info because they are already in the US, and thus do not need to ship until later this week in order to arrive on time. The Plus models however were still in China, and thus had to start shipping earlier to make it to the US on time.

Just a theory, but makes sense. The general trend across multiple threads is that Plus orders have began shipping, while non-plus orders have not been updated at all.

Not entirely true, I received a tracking number yesterday for my 128gb black iphone 7 yesterday. My wife hasn't yet though, ordered the same time.

I wouldn't worry about it though, this is the first year I have received a tracking number this early from sprint. They are terrible when it comes to this, but fortunately I have always received the phone on release day, so it's all good.

Order status has been saying "doesn't match our records" for a day now. Yippee.

Are you on mobile or desktop? For me, I get that same message when I try to check on my iPhone for some reason, but when I check on my MBP, it works just fine.

My wife and I went to a sprint store and placed a pre-order for a iphone 7 32 GB Black. We are upgrading my wife's line but she's switching hardware with me; she's getting my 6s and I the 7 because she prefers to keep the headphone jack despite the adapter. I love my 6s and didn't push to switch but I offered and she said yes. She is upgrading from a 6 and strangely had cell signal and performance issues on hers so after two years I told her lets just upgrade her line. I think she'll be far happier with the 6s.

I placed the pre-order this past Saturday and he told me 3-5 business days it will arrive so I'm assuming earliest is this Friday or later, not sure as I don't have tracking on it yet...

You can't do that, sorry. Sprint requires the device be active on the line that upgraded for at least 6 months before you can switch it to another line. Or at least that was their policy when I tried to do that a couple of years ago.

Question...like everyone else, I have a ship date of Oct 7 for my 256GB Jet Black Plus.

Do you guys think we'll have them by the Monday the Oct 10?

Do they deliver on Saturdays or no?

No. UPS doesn't deliver on Saturdays.

I took another line's upgrade last year for my 6s Plus and was able to switch lines right away, there was no problems.

I can't see Apple launching a new color for a device, knowing everyone will want it....and then not even having it available at launch. That just don't seem right.

How was the availability of the "Gold" and Rose Gold" iphones when they launched ? Was shipments pushed out like ours is for the IPhone 7 Plus?

So I ordered 5 mins after Apple.com went live for the iPhone 5s Gold 32GB. I received mine on launch day. No issues.

Not sure about Rose Gold.

When the gold was announced, orders were constrained. Same as when the rose gold came out. Especially for plus models.

This is every year.

Ordered the 128GB Matte Black 7+ at 5:33AM EST on the morning of the ninth. Same 9/30 ship by date. Still nothing but the confirmation & processing emails. This is infuriating.

Yea this appears to be a different issue regarding the apple annual upgrade program.

This seems like it just has to do with people who wanted to order through Apple...unless I am misreading the article?
I know...however it was some people on Sprint that was able to order new service on Sprint. While people that wanted to upgrade on Sprint, was given issues....

I just think Sprint prioritized new service over upgrades when the preorders started.

Um, my wife's previous device was active for almost 2 years and we are upgrading now, and like I stated we already did otherwise they would have told us.

How did you get order information for your in store?

Order ID number on the receipt of the phone purchase I was given. I put that into the www.sprint.com/myorder and that's all the information I can get so far.

Well that's not true I been with sprint for about 6 years and I was able to do that a few times. Hell I did it when I first joined sprint.
