How's your day been going?

Very stressed out. I've got a lot going on behind the scenes over here and this phone is just something for me to have to take my mind off of things and give me something to do when I reach my limit. The added crap from this whole fiasco has made it much worse for me and it has kind of killed the joy I once had.

I was also really holding out hope that we'd get our devices tomorrow, because I really want to take a weekend trip with my wife and kids, but I sort of need a better camera for where I want to go.

Hope it gets much better for you!!

It sounds like there is no point in preordering unless you preorder from Apple or go to the store a week later. I read somewhere Apple reserves the right to limit quantities. Im guessing its for their own personal gain as if you upgrade through them they try to sell you the apple care bs and accessories and get to see their other line ups as well. Its a marketing scam.

That plus reports of bad hardware in the phones and had to replace parts, manufacturers for parts and so on.

All I know is, in my personal opinion, if the next gen phones are substantially different I wont be going through this hassle with Apple. Will wait out my lease, get out of forever program and maybe switch to Android. Will miss the smoothness but there is abundance on the other side.

I really want my phone but honestly would be happy to see anybody get their order at this point just to give hope that they are actually shipping I'm starting to feel like this whole thing is a hoax lol I have only seen one person in Tucson, AZ with the plus I haven't seen it on display anywhere

Besides the fact that my manager was actually condoning people selling out of boxes 6s as i7? & the fact that Apple is getting multiple shipments on pluses and only shipping consistently to carriers that don't have a lot of business, so that their stock goes right back to Apple.
I was also told that if a customer comes in too get their iPhone 6 fixed. Convince them that it's beyond repair and sell sell sell the i7. Or tell them that the 6 won't be supported for the next iOS 10 update.

Another reason I quit. You don't do that **** to people . It's so ****ed up.

I recently signed up for a rewards thing where you fill out surveys about various things and what survey should come up tonight but one asking about cell phone providers.

I don't think I gave Sprint more than 5/10 for any of the questions they asked me in the survey. Many were 1's and 0's.

That felt good.

That's odd.. several of us have them here in little Yuma. :(

I like my current job and I think that would violate the agreement I signed and I don't think I want to get sued. lol
I will say I like my online identity and thankful nobody knows who I am.
So you still work for Apple? If what you're saying is true -- and I definitely believe you -- then it's a serious breach of trust. If you're interested in whistleblowing, DM me.

Shower Thought: What sort of chaos do you guys think would have ensued if Apple announced during the iPhone reveal that "Sprint customers will not be receiving Jet Black 7+ Models until 10/7" ?

I probably would have switched carriers to be honest.

The people were advised to be skeptical about what Apple has been saying to be able to not become a victim of master manipulation. The Forbes reported about the true reason behind the "iPhone 7" shortage buzz. According to the report, Apple's claim over lack of supply because of the higher demands is not true. It is because of the bankruptcy incidence recently happened to Hajin Shipping where dozens of ships are banned from going into the ports. These ships are allegedly carrying about $14 billion of supplies that includes electronic items.

If you ordered in store and don't have any sort of order number, it may not be a bad idea to contact the store to verify that your order was actually placed.

After ordering first thing on 9/9, we've called a few times to find out the status and were told earlier today late October. At that, I called Order Support (866.789.8292) to see if I could get an order number or any other sort of update. I was told that our account was accessed by the store but no order was placed.

Calling the store verified that Order Support was right, so we had to go in tonight and order our phones again, putting us at the end of the line (for now at least). This time, we were given an order number before we left, so we'll have a way to check the status over the next month while we're waiting.

8061696xx placed 9/22 around 6:30pm EST
iPhone 7 32 GB - Rose Gold
iPhone 7+ 32 GB - Matte Black
iPhone 7+ 128 GB - Matte Black

Aww mannnn. My original ship date is today, so I'll be going to the store as soon as I get off work to see what's going on. But I wasn't given an order number and the multiple times I've contacted order support they say they don't see an order attached to my account, so this makes me extremely nervous. Smh.

Sorry guys, I'm bowing out of this $hitshow. An Apple Store near me had a 128 GB MB iPhone 7 Plus available in stock for next day pickup. I placed my order yesterday (2 year installments) and I'm picking it up this morning. I'm going to cancel my pre-order with Sprint and just pay off the rest of my lease on the iPhone Forever plan (approx $230). This way I won't have a lease payment on my bill or TEP (still debating Apple Care). When the new one comes out next year hopefully I'll be able to sell the 7 Plus to make back some of the $ but I feel better having one less string attaching me to Sprint.

The very same phone I've been waiting almost three weeks on is available at the Apple Store in Chicago.

Yeah, just about any movement in shipping for anyone with any phone would be nice right about now for Sprint. I feel like Apple is totally elementary school bullying the Sprint customers lol. And don't look at the AT&T thread if you feel like keeping your breakfast down. :D

I just looked at the ATT thread. I see folks are getting or have their 256 MB Plus's. WTF!!!!

Seems like customers from the other carriers are seeing some movement this morning, I don't think we've had any in the past two days.

I decided I'm done. I've got one $19 payment on my iPhone 6 until it's mine. I'm going to pay that now and go to apple and upgrade on a different plan for sprint. I've already reserved a 7+ MB 128gb
[doublepost=1474634807][/doublepost]Wow first the sprint rep tells me $19 and the phone is mine, then she says I actually have to buy the phone for an additional $200. Smfh
