Wow! I wonder if this is from the plane that just landed? If so that was FAST!
 
So, the executive team has finally been able to move forward in a positive direction for me, sine my initial instore order on 9/9 for a 128GB JB 7+ was changed to a MB (which arrived, but is still unopened in the box, ATM) by the store manager.

1) Going to reset my upgrade eligibility back to 9/9
2) Wiped away last months 229.00 bill that was due on the 29th (that I had not paid yet due to all this)
3) Allow me to keep the leased 5S we were to send back on my sons line (replaced now with iPad Pro)
4) Allow me to open and use the 7+ MB until the JB arrives without any fees or penalties.

That are still working out what to do for my other non preorder issues, but finally was high enough in the chain for something other than the standard responses.

Essentially 500ish value when calculating the bill, 5S(will now be an iPod for 5y/o Tiberius) leased device return fee and the new activation fees.
May be waiting up to 10 weeks for the JB, but I feel like a valued customer again....
 
So my package is now in transit and will be delivered tomorrow. Marci's office said as soon as it's scanned for UPS I will get an email. Still nothing. LOL

I've found a bug or two with iOS 10 and the 7 plus.

Had my device stop responding when I had the phone silenced, locked and with a reminder notification. Couldn't get it to respond until cleared and flipped the mute switch.

I keep looking in hoping to see you've gotten your device.

They cancelled the UPS lost preorder. Got a refund and ordered again Monday with Marci's the SVP's team. They say they are trying to expedite it. So we'll see. I lost the excitement a while ago .
 
I'm visiting from the T-Mobile preorder thread. Was just popping by to check in to see how you guys are doing on the 128MB+'s. How far along has Sprint gotten on their pre orders? Have all the 9/9 orders been shipped?

Just curious to see if you guys are having better luck than we are over on the magenta side. I had a nightmare trying to order at midnight on preorder night and ended up with a 9/10 order that has seen zero movement.

Update: I did get the phone this afternoon. I'm still a little bewildered as to how. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see how everyone else is faring.

They were able to take my old phone right there to mitigate the costs on the new bill. Also they were able to reduce my phone bill a little. I was paying $69 for unlimited everything except it was 450 minutes talk time. Now it's unlimited everything plus 5 GB per month hotspot use for $10 less so I took that.

I looked at Best Buy this evening for a suitable case but didn't like any of the cases on hand as much as I liked the case for my old 6 Plus - so I modified it until I can find a case I like. The case selection was somewhat decimated so I suspect anyone who has one of these phones kind of cleaned them out.

To anyone who ordered the Jet Black 7 Plus, don't let the employee touch your phone when you get it lol Im being honest, Order a full film for it so it will be scratch resistant, you can get one on amazon for like 8 bucks. When you pull it out of the box its literally so damn nice and sleek. Everything is completely black and even the start up is black with a white apple logo. I don't think all 7 pluses do that, only the jet. If you just upgraded from the 6 plus that came out 2 years ago, you will see how much faster this thing is. Im not trying to hype it up but you are gonna freak when you see the shine of that JET BLACK!
 
Finally. Out for delivery. Got the UPS my choice email last night, and the shipping email from Sprint early this morning.

You are correct. I had no clue that the black ones did that. Pretty cool idea, if only they would make a dark mode for the whole IOS.

With t mobile being the worst, people on their forums being quoted for receiving their phone for the beginning of December, I'd flip out if sprint had the nerves to tell me that. It is now Wednesday so they have 6 days to get me my phone otherwise I guess my November bill will be free as well.
