Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Sprint Pre-Order Thread

Hey guys, been creepin' here for a week now.

Ordered 2 Matte Black +'s, 128GB, 2 hours after pre-order launch... no tracking yet :(

Just a question: Will Sprint charge my card for the tax of the phones? Just paid rent lol and now worried they'll try to charge my card for those taxes, and it will get denied, then what? Does my order get cancelled? errrrrrrrggggg

Update:

They cleared my account up and I was able to re-order (7 Plus 256 gigs).

Here's the weird thing - when I ordered, it did the same thing as last time "something went wrong, you need to contact us". So I used web chat and they claimed nothing was wrong. So I checked order status. They claim it's already being processed at the warehouse! I asked the webchat rep and she said I should have it "in a few days".

My friend who ordered six hours ago was told "late October."

I can't believe it.

I call BS on that. Apple knew 2 brand new colors would be the highest in demand. I almost feel like they limit production on purpose to cause a hype and publicity that they all sold out.

I think Apple pushed the preorder date up due to the Note issues.

Well, it depends on the type of phone you ordered. I ordered on 9/9 and it went to recieved on 9/10 and I still don't have my phone. (7+, 128gb, matte black)

2 phones, same model.

BUT i wasn't even getting a phone call about it. I asked about my main issue - billing . And then said oh hey by the way, is there any update? That's when I was told that I missed the cut off. But it shows on my order the cut off was the 13th. I was told on the phone it was the 13th as well. Told the guy to learn math, or the calender. Whichever is easier.

I wasn't too concerned about my phone, more about why the say I owe TONS when my bill has never been late and it's not time for my bill to be due. Now I'm concerned about my phone. I wasn't even expecting it until next week or even the week after. But they don't know what is going on there, and I didn't order from apple. So it's not like I can check my status during work.

So Sprints been pretty bad with communication, but after reading everything, I'm guessing Apple has been even worse to the networks and completely fumbled this launch.

Oh well.

All sprint can say is "demand is high, trying to get more from apple" or "Please check the status of your order...."

Apple is more to blame. I went to Verizon ATT and T-Mobile store and all of them received a few 7s but not a single plus. Same with Best Buy too

I went to Best Buy on the 9th when the store opened - nobody was even there in line or anything - and the Blue shirts told me they couldn't even place in-store preorders for any iPhone 7P model.
 
Good news for JB 7+ 128GB early orders. Man at Sprint directed me to order support, and they told me my order of the phone would arrive 9/19. Checked UPS with reference of 1, and it came up with Next Day Air Saver. And by early I mean 2:02am(CT) 9/16.

That could mean well for a lot of us who ordered the 128/256gb 7 pluses.

When did you order by the way?
 
I walked into a third party retail sprint store on the 9th when preorders were made available and ordered a 256gb 7plus silver model (At the time I was the first and only one that had ordered the new iPhone. Didn't even bother to check tracking on it or anything until the day before launch. To my surprise, my phone was in transit to that store! Picked up my new phone this morning and now am a proud owner of the iPhone 7plus 256gb. I steered clear of the jet black for three reasons: 1) I knew there would be high demand and low supply for it being the newest color addition 2) I've always purchased the white and silver model for the iPhone because of its clean and sharp look, the unique boot logo (black Apple with white background) and 3) I find the white faced phones more practical for everyday use for me. I don't see the fingerprints and smudges as much as I would on a black faced phone. All in all, I think I was quite lucky. I really wasn't expecting my new iPhone to come in on launch day.

whats the weight on your package mine shows 1.10lbs hopefully this is it!!!

My order shows same ********. Order received with ship date of 10/7. Sprint is awful at updating that. Last year it said the same thing but my phone showed up launch day.

My weight was .6 lbs. This is what it told me last year oddly enough. But I don't really look at weights unless they're wildly off.
