Not to be a wet blanket, but don't be surprised if all those updated status pages get updated again...and again.

I will be really surprised if orders are filled in the current timeframe. I hold no hope to see my Plus 256 Black this month.

Add to that we will all slip beyond next years launch window for IPhone Forever upgrades without paying another month on the 7.
It'll be a good early xmas present.

  • So it was deliberate. Apple knew samsung was having MAJOR issues.
  • In order to drive up sales, Apple canceled the Iphone pro. Went with the Iphone Plus. Didn't have enough stock and now EVERY single plus that is being made and shipped. Will be to the major US APPLE stores. Not the ones in smaller cities. I'm talking NEW YORK, CALIFORNIA, FLORIDA ETC.
  • It'll be very few and far between that sprint, verizon, at&t and tmobile will get the 7 plus.
  • AT&T unfortunately will get more because they don't sell them as quickly. So the ones that don't sell much of will then get dispensed to the closest Apple Store to that AT&T.

I still have the will be shipped by 9/30
I got a $100 bill credit for inconvenience from someone else from Exec Escalations.
Then she had the nerve to say "well, with that extra $100 you can log on to sprint and shop for accessories".
No b*tch. I'm not spending any more money that I have too with sprint.

Thanks for the info, got the full tracking information. Wondering if it could be mine. 4 pounds sounds a bit heavy for just a phone :/

There are a ton of iPhone-filled planes flying into Louisville over the next 24 hours. Since there wasn't a real shortage of regular models for launch day, I'm thinking (hoping) that the majority of the incoming shipments are Plus models, and that many of us will have tracking numbers before we go to sleep tomorrow night. Positivity, people! Lol

I was told by sprint that they have iPhone 7 128GB black in stock, its at their warehouse, it just wasn't shipped, they tried to blame that on ups?? Sprints web site says there available now as well?

Plenty of the 7s, could probably get a 7 Matte Black in store tomorrow. Just trying to hold out for the 7 Plus JB 128GB..
Honestly in person the Matte Black looked better than Jet...

I find that to be entirely possible, since at this current time, Apple sort of rules what UPS does with the iPhones. But even though Sprint may not be to blame for the shortage, they ARE to blame for the agonizingly impossible website crash, and that inevitably led to all of our orders being greatly deprioritized. And that is wrong on all fronts.

But hey, I feel that everybody and their grandmother should shoot Tim Cook an email about their take on this whole conundrum. And I really mean that, too. Please- email as much, as often, and as politely and well worded, yet still bold, your feeling on how Apple is currently fleecing its customer by proxy. I say this because, believe it or not, if you have a powerful enough issue and you phrase yourself correctly, you can get in direct contact with people at Apple in surprisingly little time. It won't be Tim Cook, but believe me when I say that you'll be surprised at how far you can get with the right words. Email address-

I agree 100%. I got to see the 7+ in matte black on Friday at a sprint store and it looked awesome.
 
That's just a little lower than mine. Didn't realize I was lower in order until looking at the order numbers of others on here. But I have still yet to see another person with a Plus 256gb flat black order. I really want to know if there has been a single person on here that got one.
I also ordered a 7+ 256gb matte black and my status is showing it will be delivered 9/23-9/30. No update past that.

Doesn't matter the order number. Sprint assigned dates for each configuration before orders were even placed. 9/9 orders all had the same delivery date.

Matte Black 128 Plus was 9/30. Haven't seen anyone with a different date for that particular config.

Matte Black 256 Plus 9/23.

Tells me Sprint had a fulfillment allotment pegged to arrive from Apple. My best guess is Apple changed it up after the fact. Now Sprint is left holding the bag and at Apples mercy for fulfillment. Seems the other Carriers are in same boat.

I'd guess they preferred to fulfill IUP orders first. Why wouldn't they. Inability to fulfill it jeopardizes the program. Why would Apple really care about Carriers? We're locked in for the most part.

I'm sure the 7 wasn't an issue, seemed the majority (but not all) were scheduled for 9/16.

If I weren't locked into iPhone Forever I'd cancel and just get something else.

They very well may be, I don't work for sprint. SO i have no clue. What I was told by Exec escal. was that the warehouse is backed up and ups just hasn't picked up the packages they were supposed too.

So if you ordered an iPhone 7 plus in Gold, and The person who ordered after you, ordered a silver plus, and they get the silvers but not the gold. Then people who ordered the silver after you. whether it be days or weeks. Will get their phone first.
So it seems like they are only getting certain colors at a time right now.


Also , They said they would not cancel preorders that are out til November (even past the 30 days back order rule). You would have to specifically ask your order to be canceled.

Come monday, Apple will have new phones (7s) in their stores & maybe AT&T..

Sprint is stupid. My mom paid the full balance on my sisters 6s plus so that she could keep it, and used her upgrade and they still sent a return kit with it.
