Agreed, the only way I did my upgrade was using the /landing at the end of Sprint.com and it let me order at 1:58am with a conf email at 2:02.
I just called for my Jet Black 7+ (3:21 AM CT), was told the same 10/7 time frameI pushed really hard for more information but got nothing. This is super frustrating, tracked by reference by my zip and I see one package on route coming from Louisville to be delivered on 9/19, doubting it's me now. No matter what I do when seeking customer support they tell me the same information. She said there's no way I'll get it before October..
Hoping and praying this is mine... I don't think I can check out more info about it like the weight, etc. Just will have to wait and see

So far as the theory of Apple not knowing that the Plus would outsell the standard-
Incorrect. Sales of the Plus have been scaling for the past two years, and it was anticipated that this year would see the Plus pull ahead of the standard. But one thing that keeps going through my head is the mysterious iPhone 7 Pro. If there is even a tiny bit of truth behind this, then I think we know where to look to find the origin of this whole disaster.

CS Reps lie. Don't put all your faith in them, you'll be disappointed.

Have you checked UPS MyChoice? If not you should sign up for one under your address that the phone is "getting shipped to". Then check if any packages are being sent to that address.

Let me be honest, there is always a chance your phone is coming but never trust what the CS reps say.
Yeah I'm signed up for it, have been for a year or so. The thing is, if it isn't here Monday then I don't know where they get info from at that point. I'd just be more pissed, so you think they'd at least lie pessimistically rather than optimistically.
So it hasn't shown up in UPS MyChoice? Mine hasn't. And I've heard tons of hullabaloo from CS.
Oh! and also just went to the Apple Store today, and honestly the Matte Black looks better than JB, not sure if it's because of the fingerprints though...

Yeah they're in order (no pun intended). So mine is oy-shso-8034274XX. It is one of the lowest numbers I've seen.
That's interesting. That's my order number just about. So I'm assuming I'm one of the earlier orders? But it's still showing my shipping time as October 7th.
Mine also shows Oct. 7. They said that is the latest time for that order window and I should expect mine in 24-48 hours, however I should expect it Monday since it is the weekend.
Do you already have a tracking number or anything? Mine has been saying it would ship by the 7th since I pre ordered. It just stinks that I manage to order before 3am and have a confirmation email for like 3:01est and I'm still waiting
Agreed... I've been keeping up in this forum and I have seen zero references to the 7+ 256gb in gold. There was also polls on the most popular colors and gold ranked last. So I'm kind of annoyed that there are so many people getting the two most sought after colors when I can't get the least desirable colored device!
That sucks. My friend ordered a rose gold 128gb 7+ and got it release day. And she ordered it at like 7am

Had Jackie from sprint executive escalations tell me it was to be shipped on the 16th.
I still have the will be shipped by 9/30
I got a $100 bill credit for inconvenience from someone else from Exec Escalations.
Then she had the nerve to say "well, with that extra $100 you can log on to sprint and shop for accessories".
No b*tch. I'm not spending any more money that I have too with sprint.
