Looking at the Flightaware site: six inbound aircraft at present. How many phones can fit on a single aircraft I wonder?

235,000- 450,000. Depending on which aircraft it is. The 747 can carry a bunch, but I can't figure out how much the MD-11 can hold. It is a very large jet, but I'm not familiar with its interior dimensions. I kind of wish they'd just line up a bunch of 747s and 777s and load them all up.
Lurking over here from the AT&T thread. We're all having the same issues with phones not shipping. I ordered at 3:37 am ET for a JB 128 plus. Estimated shipping dates of 10/14-10/21. A lot of people are having luck going to the apple website and reserving phones to pick up in store. They have some pluses and it updates throughout the day and then after midnight local time. Nowhere has jet black though and few of them have the matte black. Good luck guys.
To my knowledge, around 450K.
The thing that's really upsetting is that there were over 10 planes that came in yesterday and the 7 Plus is now available in store, but no preorder customers have received shipping notifications? Frustrating! I'm thinking this is the last year I will preorder
The staying up part is what really made me mad. Especially when they said I couldn't just change my order, and had to cancel. I didn't go to sleep until about 5am that morning and was miserable at work the next day. I know this will my last pre-order experience. I typically like to have the product I pay for in my hand shortly after actually paying. Crazy right? I know... I was charged for my order on Monday 9/12 after pre-ordering on 9/10 yet I have nothing but a hope of receiving both 128gb + "by" the 30th.
Yeah. It crashed shortly after preorders started. Some people who did their pre order right after it opened up got a shipping window of around a month from now. Some orders have cancelled on their own. I'm beginning to believe that they didn't even make any of the jet black.
I've never not had the phone on launch. This is my second preorder, other times I waited in line. Honestly, if I didn't have a grandfathered unlimited plan, I would leave sprint. This was a complete waste of time.

Been on the sidelines watching this thread like a hawk since preorder day so hello and thanks for all the information you guys have provided. It's helped calm my anxiety a tiny bit. Lol. Preordered a 256GB 7+ MB in store on 9/9 at 10:48 am. Was told 9/23 so I'm praying that holds true. This is my first time preordering in store and also my first preorder experience with Sprint. (Former Verizon customer) All I can say is this will probably be the only time I'll do the in store preorder. The suspense and lack of information is excruciating. Lol. Nobody at my store knows anything but they had the full run of 7's in stock this morning (minus the JB color of course.) Smh.
Same here. That's what I meant in my previous post where I mentioned that they (Sprint) don't have a clue. They are completely at the mercy of Apple.
Yeah, apparently it had something to do with the system thinking it was fraud.

AGREED on the "not making any Jet Black pluses". It definitely seems like they had no clue how many to make, so since they are painstaking they decided to see how many were ordered first, them make them. Bummer.

I've noticed that every review I have seen (mostly on YouTube) of the JB is with the 7 and not the 7+... That is pretty interesting that literally no one on earth seems to have the JB.
I was actually referring to all Plus models... sorry, I should've clarified that. He was telling me that they are quoting November as the delivery date for their 7 Plus line. And I really thought he was losing it. He has no reason to lie to me about it. But I am shocked that AT&T has this issue. I really thought that they'd get the lion's share since they were the launch partner of the iPhone
yea I was thinking the same thing. only guy that I saw has one is the unboxtherapy guy and he got it sent from someone else. What I think is that they tried to push up the dates because of the Note's issues and weren't ready.

That could very well be true. However, one would think that Apple is smart enough to take advantage of their competitors misfortune without pushing a product they technically don't have available. Obviously that's not the case because every commercial (I believe) is based using the JB IPhone.
So Apple stores have had the 256 MB Plus, even in stock now, and we're still waiting to hear anything on our reserved devices. I am seething at this point. But it seems that there is a race underway by the pilots hauling the goods. My bet is on the guy on the right.
I mean some AT&T plus phones have shipped but not many. My Jet Black 7 plus has an estimated ship date of 10/14 to 10/21.
I noticed yesterday that the local Apple stores got shipments of a lot of 7+ models in stock, but they must have all been reserved for IUP or online pre-orders because they showed non available for pick up in store.
