iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Idiots placed a block on my account and blocked the card and they can't give me any reason as to why the account is under review!!

Purchased 2 iPhones and one Apple Watch and called them up on Thursday to pre warn them of the transactions forthcoming....and they go do this, absolutely raging at them

The iPhones are in prepared for shipment so I know the transaction has went through but the Apple Watch is still processing so had to call up Apple earlier today to swap card over to my Lloyds CC

Was on the phone to Virgin security team today and I was promised a call back by 7pm,...didn't get the call and still waiting! I also asked how long the review was for and he said between 1 and 2 weeks..what the ****

Guess I know what will be happening to the card once the balance is paid

I paid with my Virgin Credit Card and it went through fine, only issues I have had is when my Yorkshire Bank account was blocked when I tried to pay my CC bill a couple of months ago so that wasn't even Virgins fault.

Very iPhone is processed but no hope of it arriving Saturday IMO :(

Still it was nice waking up to a dispatch email from Apple.... for my case!
 
Has anyone bought an apple case for the 7/7+ on online store for delivery? Mine has said delivery 13th-15th since Friday and has been preparing for dispatch ever since but still not been sent or charged :-(

Just wondering if anyone else's has been dispatched yet?

I ordered 2 silicone cases friday evening alongside a dock and cable.
one of the cases, dock and cable is coming today
 
This may have been asked before. But will changing my delivery address when it's in "Processing Items" delay the delivery?

Hmm I just bought 1 leather on its own.....hopefully will see some movement today or tomorrow then, just really hope it comes before Friday's phone delivery!

Literally thinking of grabbing one from Meadowhall, but I can't be bothered to queue up even to get in the store on launch day as that store is way too small.
 
Screen protectors... I didn't get one for my 6, but now it has scratches all over it. They don't affect use but affect resale value. Anyway, since the curved glass screen, everything went to s*** with screen protectors. Now I have no idea what to do, because the idea of having the screen protector be so visible / bumpy / sharp edges repulses me.

Why should I get glass instead of a clear film? Seems to me that the film has less of a chance of getting dust underneath it, and will not be as 'raised' as the glass ones, which are likely to be jarring for my fingers.

Let me know your thoughts.

@Jack1998 I am curious to see some pictures of your new accessories - or even just the boxes if you're waiting for your phone to unbox them :)

The App Store page says that Super Mario Run has in-app purchases. Probably minor ones.
 
Thanks guys. The game does look good, so if its no more than £3 i will get it. Not sure if worth more

I love glass screen protectors. I understand your point and I guess it doesnt look as good as plastic due to it being raised. However, there has been contless stories of people dropping their phones with the glass protector on and only the protector broke, not the iphone screen. Whereas as the plastic - the screen itself will brake. Its just more secure. After a few days you stop noticing the raised glass.
