iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

There were no black pluses from when preorders started on the 9th at 8:01 and original dates were 27th to 29th and some have come to 20th to 22nd.

Unless theres a major date change tomorrow to deliver on 16th it seems unlikely therefore most will start coming in week after and so on.

I also reckon many will start changing thier jet black orders once they have visted the Apple store and see those badly chipped and scratched display jet blacks

Lol i'm upgrading for three reasons,

1. My O2 Contract has ended
2. I sold my old iPhone 6 Plus at CEX and got a bit of money to put a side for the 7
3. IT'S A NEW IPHONE

Off topic with my iPhone 6 Plus the Mute switch went funny on my old iPhone six when i first got it, for instance if i touched it, it would toggle the mute switch, did anything like that happen to yours ?

You work your phones hard! My 6 is mint apart from one nick in top corner of case. I think the battery seems fine too, but I was how I check before the end of the AppleCare (is battery covered by AppleCare?)

Chose the plus simply because of the camera. I have the olloclip telephoto and wide angle lens attachment which is great but I find I don't have it on me when I need it/don't have time to attach it. The iPhone 7+ at 2x is the same telephoto reach but easier. And as the olloclip is £100 then it isn't too painful price wise.

I really can't wait with the update of the iPhone 7 + camera, can't wait for it :)
[doublepost=1473794100][/doublepost]I have to say my phones, don't last two minutes, the iPhone 6 plus was my first contract and i had the phone until last month, its the longest i've ever had a phone i usually only have phones about 4 - 6 months

My other iPhone 7 Silicone case is preparing for dispatch :)

I'm on sim only since the iPhone 6 launch as Three had messed up their pre orders (massive delay) and well over priced, so buying straight from Apple now with a sim only Three contract for £15/month with unlimited data! (They don't seem to actually offer it anymore!)

I think my 5 might have had a wobbly mute switch, but nothing major.
No switch issues on the 6, but I do notice I catch the buttons when changing cases, so only a matter of time for them to go funny as well!

Maybe with the iPhone 6 it was either my fault with cases or one of the "Bendgate" issues ?

I'm clearly an aggressive button pusher!
I think battery isn't covered and on my 6 it seems temperature related!
The "falling apart at the edge" is maybe a bit over the top. It's got a little wobble, I can hear a little clicking sound when I press the corner! I suspect I dropped it at one point...
But to calm you down, I never scratched or shattered a single screen!

Same issue with the black slate rubbing away on the iPhone 5. Didn't change mine as it wasn't bad as they said it was.

What are we all doing with our phones when we get them? Setup as a new phone or select a backup?

I'll be setting up as a new phone. Yes, you have to re-download everything but it's only once a year!!

For me, backups are there only when something's wrong.
 
Is anyone stilll in my position Got an in store pickup of iPhone 7 for Friday (Launch Day). Been charged, though still sat on processing.

I wanted the dual lens camera/ better camera than on my 6S plus

Water resistance

Stereo speakers

Improved colour gamut

Fancied a colour change (rose gold).


I have two phones to sell (S7 edge and iPhone 6S plus) so doesn't cost me much more to buy the 7 plus outright

No need to feel sorry. Kinda puts things into perspective and makes us able bodies realise how lucky we are.

Guys need opinions / experiences.

So iOS 10 bricked my iPad and it forced me to restore. This means Apple Pay was removed from my iPad and guess what I've used to pre-order my iPhone with!!

How will this work? Will pending transactions be cancelled?
