Yet Apple Insider have a different article...Looks like iPhone stocks have been exhausted then..

"Sure, I've heard the rumors," said an Apple store manager. "It's always tough. Has always been tough during the first few days after everybody got wind of the iPhone."
"We're high-volume, compared to most other stores," the manager said. "It might be different at some of the slower stores, but we'll be able to feed the line for at least a while on Friday."

There were no issues from the IUP I in the UK as it only started last week?!Reservations site is closed. They offered no solution for UK customers affected by the IUP issues. 🙁

That means I'm not getting one this weekend then. 🙁

The US issues are down to people looking to upgrade and not having the choice of stock to do so
I suspect you should always have had that earlier date and you updating something forces the date you see to refresh...Just added the country to my order of iPhone 7 plus 128gb Matt black and delivery has also changed from 27th to Delivers: 20 Sep - 22 Sep by Standard Shipping
Confirmation of order was 8:09
Anyone think this is actually the date will get it or some sort of bug on their site?
I think lots of us have IUP reservations for launch day? Those of us who want to join the program clearly missed out on getting an iPhone on launch day purely because of the way we were choosing to pay for the phone.

Nope mine is exactly the same as yours. My iphone is still showing as "Preparing for Dispatch" even though it is due tomorrow. Still showing delivery date for tomorrow. Anyone else is in the same boat, or has everyone's been dispatched?
There aren't enough black phones ready for launch day this year. I do agree that reservation system has been a bit confusing as it seems that you can make a reservation under the UGP and then pay up front in the store although this wasn't made clear. Those of us who want to join the program clearly missed out on getting an iPhone on launch day purely because of the way we were choosing to pay for the phone.
Yep I just tried it and it worked for me too. I didn't even change anything. I just hit the update button and "POW", my deleviery date changed to 20-22 SeptI've been watching this thread since pre order. Did the same thing and added my county to the shipping address and my plus 128gb black moved forward delivery date. How bizarre? But amazing!

Which is all down to a limited inventory. Wait till next year when all on the IUP try getting the fabled 10th anniversary phone.. Will be chaosThose of us who want to join the program clearly missed out on getting an iPhone on launch day purely because of the way we were choosing to pay for the phone.
You'll be fineeeeee. 😛After that Apple statement I'm paranoid my reserved Jet Blacks won't be available and it was just a system glitch or something.
Grr, fingers crossed.
Are there any diary stories of Apple messing up reservations before? 😕

To be fair, Apple did mess up the reservation link on their website. It took about 30 minutes for the link to start working on the iPP pages (if you clicked directly from the store it worked)Which is all down to a limited inventory.
