iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Got the same text from UKMail. Not sure if its for my iPhone or :apple:Watch, but hopefully both.

Both still say preparing to dispatch. (Both 16th Sep delivery)

The delivery time still shows as 6-8 working days. This whole thing is clearly a processing glitch on Apples side. I can definitely live with this delivery date! I think they must batch deliveries on county in the UK since that's what allows them to organise their phones by courier, so without a county, they may have added a later delivery date just for extra delivery time as it makes its way to you.

It is not a glitch. Other people were seeing delivery changes from 27 to 29 September to 20-22. I changed my delivery address as a precaution due to me being on holiday (now delivering to work).

Quite sure it is. A lot of people in this thread have proven that changing your address (by merely modifying something small, like adding a company name, or adding a county) has bumped up delivery times. The actual premises is the same as before. Not that I'm complaining by the way.
 
So I've decided to purchase the 7+. What's the fastest method of getting one? Ordering online now or checking in stores next week?

Depends on the colour I suspect. Black (either of them) will probably be rare, the other colours will probably be available in shops relatively widely...
 
I'm back just before the yearly madness of dispatch day. This forum has kept me sane of the many years of ordering Apple products. :)
No text for me yet, still holding out for a DPD delivery man tho. Waiting for a 7 black 128gb and series 2 watch

It's not. The only reason why I changed my delivery address in the first place is because people were seeing theirs update to an earlier timeframe (just randomly by doing absolutely nothing) during which I'm away on holiday. So I changed my address knowing the delivery date would get bumped up later in the week.
 
If Apple don't pull their finger out surely those who want a black or jet black plus won't be able to take advantage of the upgrade program? I'm pretty sure you have to have paid 11 months before your eligible for an upgrade so if stock is constrained for the next month or so it could mean waiting a month once the new ones are announced?
