I too keep having random thoughts about switching to a smaller 7, or a different colour, or 256 instead based on what I can have NOW.

Then I remind myself it's marry in haste, repent at leisure - I know what I want & it'd be daft to compromise for a week or two of instant gratification.

The stock availability actually appears beforehand and at the moment, no Pluses.

They are supposed to give a 2 hour window in the morning.

Just go into the order details and add the county to the shipping address and you will possibly see it move from 27th to 20th.

Of course if you already have done that or have that county in there then never mind!

You realise it doesn't actually move your order up, it just shows the date as the actual delivery date. You're not already bumping up the queue.

Walked past the Apple store in Edinburgh earlier and they were cleaning the place up and phones were on show.

Really hope giffgaff will have it available tomorrow or even Apple Upgrade on saturday morning.

Carphone warehouse have availability of IP 7 plus, 128gb in Gold. Can get sim free and ordered now for delivery the following day.

JL have IP 7, 256gb Jet black still available to buy for collection following day after 2pm.
 
Covent Garden Apple Store at 11 ish this evening had barriers up to stop you getting close and police and security guards by the door. Odd.
 
When did Apple stop using sapphire cover glass on the home button and camera? According to this video the 7 uses normal glass, and come to think of it they don't mention sapphire on the iPhone anymore....

Saw that too but I'm unsure his tests are accurate. I'd like to see a comparison between 7 and the 6s on these components.

Apple is still saying that the TouchID sensor and Camera lens are sapphire covered as per http://www.apple.com/iphone-7/specs/

Yea I agree, I think those picks he is using are probably pretty inaccurate. Maybe he should be using calibrated pressure or something like that?

Why don't you just go into your order on your Apple account and edit the delivery notifications and billing email addresses etc yourself?

You may even benefit from seeing an updated delivery date (although with an 08:25 order time I doubt it) but at least you'll get emails to the correct address from now on ....

When you get your 'ready for collection' text there's a link to click which brings up a reservation card for you to add to your wallet.
