iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

I've had a few deliveries from DPD and one time the guy was a minute before the timeslot and we literally waited at the door till he could let me sign off the parcel, he had to wait till the timeslot to do anything on his touchscreen!Go one, pull up your PJs, get into those slippers and RUUUUN. I do wonder what would happen if you met him at another house.
Mine was originally 27th-29th and then updated into the batch for 20th-22nd next week & hasn't ever moved from Processing Items since last Friday lunchtime. No money taken yet.
No idea how it works, but it's reasonable to expect these phones are just part of a massive 'clump' and will break into smaller batches as they physically ship from China, we'll then see them diverging as people get their individual shipment notifications dependent on their place in the queue.
More pics to follow. My son has decided that he's not napping in his cot and is napping in my arms. So I'll have to wait until I set it up. I have opened it and the pink is gorgeous!! I'm just doing a final iCloud backup so I can restore on the new phone.
No way am I doing store pick up again! Get here and get out in a poxy que!

Just had a text from JL saying my iPhone is ready for collection, 7 hours and counting until I finish work 
Just had my text delivery between 16:45 and 17:45 pretty why could they not have told me that earlier Wish had they had used U.K. Mail like they normally do he comes before 12

Just had notification from DPD (at 10:20am) that my delivery will be with me between 10:31 and 11:31 this morning
Same here..... I'm keeping everything crossed that it arrives today although am managing expectations by assuming I will be iPhone 7+ less tonight - come on VERY, prove me wrong!

Big queues along the usual service corridor despite the overhaul work. Way more noticeable security than I've seen before.
Also the big queue was seemingly for walk ins and reservations!!! Only pre-paid had a special queue - which I was in. People moaning that they had a reservation time of 9am but not been seen etc
Not good news really on the jet black front - there was one demo unit and it's gorgeous. Way nicer than I expected. They claim they had some reserves but I'm not convinced.
Also from what I've been told.. don't expect too much on the reservations tomorrow - it sounds woefully inadequate.
So I currently have a white 32gb plus, but if there is ANY way I can get a jet black plus i will swap it.
Interesting titbit - supposedly you can buy and convert to IUP within 14 days

DPD app is trending on the Apple App Store - bet they've never had so many downloads
I tried an experiment last night I ordered another plus but in one of the white versions & even though it has a later dispatch than my black model I am betting it actually gets dispatched first. Did this previously & that's what happened.
That's great! Since we get Amazon logistics down here I rarely see DPD anymore, but I always thought they're probably the best delivery company around these days!
That's rubbish. If you have a reservation you shouldn't be queuing with walk ins. Last year at Kingston there was a separate queue for walk ins and reservations. I was in the reservations queue and was in and out within 10 minutes. I'm so glad I stuck with home delivery. I've moved and now my nearest Apple Store is about 1 hour 30 minutes away and I have a 4 month old son. Can't be going to the Apple Store on iPhone launch day.

They must be delivering loads. When I unsuccessfully tried to contact uk Mail about my contact number there was a pre-recorded message just for iPhone 7 deliveries and there is apparently a dedicated page on their website (I never looked).DPD app is trending on the Apple App Store - bet they've never had so many downloads
For anyone who has a delivery with UK Mail if for any chance it's not successful today they said they will attempt to re-deliver tomorrow.

Nooooo. Currently waiting for them to sort it out. Wonder if I can bung it on a credit card and then do that in a week when things have calmed down. Currently working on a bench in the Trafford Centre!
