And he'll be here again next year, won't you @sparkie1984 !?![]()
However because of the Apple upgrade Programme now being available for the UK , one would have thought it be in he networks interest to reveal their hand much earlier
A couple of years ago 3 didn't reveal their prices until the afternoon when every other Netowrk sold out. Back then 3 had the best deals on iPhones and everyone expected them to still have the best deals, they bumped their prices up massively so those waiting for them to allow pre-orders were left with no option but to wait until after the launch for them to come back in stock or pay 3's prices. As I have a friend who works at a senior level in EE marketing, I can tell you the panic buying aspect is a major driver.
Lol I was in sunny Corfu last year with Rubbish internet. Now u I am indeed in my gloomy living room. LolMorning all! Ahhh it seems like only yesterday that i was sat on my hotel balcony desperately hoping the dodgy wifi that only seemed to work in one spot didn't drop out so I could order my 6S. And here were are again, although this time the slightly less glamorous location of my living room.
But those people can't drive to an Apple Store and get their phone repaired/replaced on the spot for £25/£79 can they?People can get contents insurance on their home (which includes accidental damage to their gadgets) for less than the cost of Apple care.
10 minutes for me, the rest of you can try in 15 mins![]()
8 minutes.... I'm ordering direct from Apple, and I'm not confident I'll be able to bag a launch day delivery, I fell like demand will be high and supply will be low. Good luck everyone, I will update you when it's all over
Think I need every saint going! At 8.01 I shall be driving to school, listening to my daughter read because the little beggar refused to do it last night, and frantically refreshing Vodafone and cursing them. Aargh!Hopefully Saint Francis will be looking down on us this morning![]()
Insurance repair jobs are usually done by authorised Apple repair personnel. Also they never fit 3rd party parts, you always get genuine parts. It's all down to warranty issues that you describe. But those people can't drive to an Apple Store and get their phone repaired/replaced on the spot for £25/£79 can they?
It'll get sent off to some sweatshop in Bradford and come back a good 10 days (if you're lucky) later.
Couple that with the fact that the next time you have a warranty issue, Apple may refuse to repair/replace free of charge due to "3rd party parts being fitted" and Applecare + is a no brainier (IMO).
Next years model - yes8 minutes.... I'm ordering direct from Apple, and I'm not confident I'll be able to bag a launch day delivery, I fell like demand will be high and supply will be low. Good luck everyone, I will update you when it's all over
