Screen protector and case on. Taking no chances lol

Putting on the glass screen protector felt like performing surgery! But I think I managed to avoid dust bubbles!

Love the midnight blue leather case. Goes very nicely with the silver model!

I haven't even turned it on yet haha. That's the next step!

Is your screen protector an iPhone 7 one or did you use an iPhone 6 one?

Unfortunately I don't think that's the case 🙁
The ear piece is longer so it depends on the screen protector and whether the top part where the ear piece is open or conformed to design.

...dayam, if thats the case, I'll have to order some proper iPhone 7 ones. 😱

Pretty sure they've secretly stuck a third-generation Touch ID sensor in the 7. It's noticeable quicker than my 6s.

It is, isn't it? Saw a few comments where people didn't seemingly like it but am used to it already.

Seriously, no urgency at all here at the Apple Store in Lakeside.
Dozens of staff standing around chatting to each other. Dozens of customers stuck in two hour queue despite having a 15 minute reservation slot.
Pathetic.

I head to dpd.co.uk and enter my "Apple Parcel Number" all it gives is the drivers name and a delivery window.

I can't see a map.

DPD is a refreshing wonder for couriers.
I had mine sent to the local drop off point t- 2 mins around the corner just in case I was out. It was there by 11am. (the Apple Watch 2)

I hope my phone comes via DPD. It would make it a whole lot easier!

Thanks, UK Mail website says betwe 14:17 and 15:17. I was using a tracking site that didn't have that info.

Time to pit it against my Galaxy S7 that I'm (irresponsibly) upgrading from. I hope Apple can be at least on par with Samsung's phone in terms of camera quality and battery life. We shall see, we shall see...

I've just done the biggest mistake of my life...

Been shopping this morning and put all of the purchases on my credit card, on which there is a pending £1 charge for my black iPhone 7 plus 128gb. As the credit card has only 1k limit, this now means there isn't enough funds on it for when Apple actually charges my account 🙂

Now I'm stuck at work until 8pm and won't be able to ring Apple to change my billing details...Here's one to hoping they charge me on Monday.

Lesson learned is to think ahead

My UK mail tracking was more accurate than other's. Had my text message to say I'm next and then there he was.
Now the wait for set up begins!

Can you check the speaker grill (the earpiece), at the top of the display, on both phones - are they the same sizes, i.e. is one longer than the other?

Need to check to see if an iPhone 6 screen protector will fit on the iPhone 7!!

For anyone asking........ 6Plus screen protectors definitely DO NOT work with the 7 Plus......... the 7 Plus speaker is wider, and FaceTime camera is more to the left.

When did your phone get out on the van? Mine went on about 6.30 and I was able to see my window from about 7.30.

Its turned up now, just needed some time to refresh by the looks of it.

My wifes phone will be here by 13:00, but I need to wait till 16:15 for my appointment at the Apple Store.

That's exactly what I thought...

It's probably done to try and stop them from speeding and to make sure they do the drops in the most fuel efficient (cheapest) order.
