iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Well great, the screen on maximum brightness is no where near what my iPhone 6 is capable of, not happy.

Mines the same - it's been out since 7.15am. I decided it's because I live in mid-Wales!

Mine changed about an hour ago or so and I've been giving my hour slot. It will arrive eventually, depends what run the guys are doing

Think they all have up to 9pm to deliver I think

I don't think I've ever had any iPhone on full pelt in the brightness..

Just back from the store. Not too busy, most people there to do pick ups. The Belfast store only had 7 jet black available on the pre order. Turns out I was the first to pre order one and first to pick it up. Some staff were even envious

just left there myself.Have to Say after playing with the Jet Black it is wayyyy nicer than I thought it would be,most definitely the nicest.I got Matte :-(

I always run mine on full brightness apart from at night

The 7 has 625 nits. The 6s has 554. The 6 has 606.

You probably wouldn't notice a difference in 19 nits. You may have a defective display.

Anyway, why on earth do you have it at full brightness? I have mine at ¼ and it's bright enough, outside, I'll turn it up a bit.

EDIT: Ensure Auto-Brightness is off and Reduce White Point is disabled, that can drastically reduce the brightness.

Settings> General> Accessibility> Display Accommodations> Reduce White Point.

Headed back to the Apple Store to get a case for my 7 Plus. They had no Midnight Blue leather ones so I settled for a Silicone one in the same colour. However, the website's showing as available to pickup there today?

Sure I saw on the keynote the IOM was on the second wave of release 23rd Sept:-(. Mind you that might be Manx Telecom

You must visibly watch your battery drain on full blast brightness, no?

ahh ok, so no proof of address for last 3 years or proof of employment?

was gonna get my mum to do it for me because I'm at uni but they state you need to be employed, but i have an income each week but its just not a job. maybe i will be able to do it
