Are you restoring from backup ? I have noticed that my 6S and now my 7 that the screen dulls a bit if the phone has been in long use and a little bit hot.
Me too... a friend of mine sent that. I've got 2 phones reserved at 17.30. Need to be gone by 18.15, but don't hold out much hope. Going to get there bit earlier if possible.
I remember you from the previous iPhone threads! Not seen anything about Edinburgh store but it sounds like a nightmare at some stores. Hopefully no problems here. I haven't reserved this year but heading to the store around 5ish to have a look at the new phones. If you see someone waving at you in the store it's because I've heard you asking to be comped a case!
Mine took the password. Then funny enough asked for the password of someone else's iTunes account to verify credit card details.
Wasted over 2 hours now.
Phone's going back, sticking with my 6, can't be bothered...
I'm due there for 19:30 and work in Tower Bridge until 18:00 (although am trying to sneak out earlier). Thankfully I don't have anywhere to be after, but I do have a feeling they might have an after work rush. Just means I will have to rush there when I am done with work.
If its asking for someone else's iTunes account it means you have installed some apps from someone else's account so it is verifying the info, if you do no it should continue to restore and it won't install the apps from that persons account.
Call Apple or go into their store if you need help with setup.
People are so dramatic.
That used to be my local. I remember them still having long queues for a while after launch last year. That looks like a nightmare. If I hadn't paid in advance for in store pick I would turn around and go home.

Yep, on my 7+ now and fit perfectly. Not an 'edge to edge' protector, but that's fine with a case. Like another poster, I put this on BEFORE I even turned the thing on! You don't really notice them at all.

My girlfriend picked up her 7 from there today at around 11:30. She said in and out - zero problems
had a reservation for 13:45 today at the buchanan street store, i went in around 945 and stood in a que behind 10 or so other people. Picked up my 256 black 7 no problem.
they had a couple of JB 7's on display which looked really nice up close, all plus models were in rose/gold.
ironically i find the black picks up finger prints really easily

Just been in to my local Apple Store, it was pure chaos. Never have I seen so many blue t-shirted Apple Store staff running around like headless chickens.
They didn't have the Jet Black 7 Plus on show, but compared the black and jet black 7. I have to admit the Jet Black looks top glass, however I don't think my OCD would cope with all the finger prints and micro scratches.

Lots of JBs went to preparing yesterday, let's hope some matte blacks do the same today! Who's still in the matte black plus 20th-22nd squad?
I just had a email from Very about my watch telling me my order was still on track for delivery on 15/10/16, I got excited it might have been sent early when I first saw it just after reading your post.
On the plus side this is 2 days before the estimated delivery date when I ordered it.
I am, hopefully we see some movement.
You've got to feel for the staff in the Apple Store on iPhone launch day. It must be exhausting.
Yeah it must be, I certainly couldn't do it. Answering the same questions over and over again. Fair play to them, there must have been 20 or so members of staff.

I had a little Ruby script checking the apple store every 5 mins and between the above times (BST) it changed! Yay!
FYI, I ordered using Apple Pay within 30-45 seconds of the Apple Store app coming to life on preorder day and have a confirmation email at 08:04am
I'll let you know if/when it changes status again.
