iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

They said they did a £1 authorisation but absolutely nothing showing up in my pending transactions... Filled my car up earlier, it came up as pending within 30 seconds of paying so I know no issue with Halifax not updating.
Urghh seeing all these posts about Jet black and how nice it is, it is really making me consider not keeping my gold 7 Plus. Don't get me wrong the colour is nice but JB was my first choice but I wanted a 7+ in my second choice colour (gold ) rather than no phone for weeks.
I have not yet had time to set my phone up so it is still sealed in box. As I brought it from the Apple store am I correct in saying that I can open it, use it and return it within 14 days and get a refund and try and secure a JB in the mean time. I just wonder what my chances of being able to source one during the next 2 weeks would be?

The 6s also does this, maybe the 7 is slightly louder but still. I wouldn't worry about it.
I don't want to sound like a miserable person. BUT.
I picked up a rose gold plus on Friday. My Black is coming next week like many others here.
Having played with the phone I can't say im impressed. The dual camera really doesn't add anything. Its possible when the depth/bokka update is released it will be different but right now its not a benefit.
The performance is quicker but compared to a 6S+ there isn't much in it. I will keep the black phone because I want the latest iPhone but it's defiantly not as nice as my (exploding) Note 7 that I returned (in case it exploded).
I actually feel that I want JB more than ever now because it really makes it unique.

Omg, I've just checked mine and it got declined yesterday (VISA). I know that today they've taken the £1 out of my MasterCard so I'm hoping it's all okay now. I'm thinking of calling Apple tomorrow to make sure everything is okay.

My Amex app doesn't show the transaction anymore (it did show as pending for a few days), but having just done the same in the Wallet app, it shows the full amount last Friday.

Got my non-plus Jet Black 128GB from John Lewis store in Newcastle today (I was sceptical at first and even opened the shipping box at the counter to check it was indeed an iPhone and in Jet Black), so I've cancelled my order with Apple so someone should get a date bump 🙂
Whoever posted about the adding the 'bundle' to basket on the John Lewis website before they went on sale at 8am the next day - thank you very much for the heads up.
Just want to say if anyone is thinking about cancelling JB and going with matt then don't. The JB is fantastic and doesn't scratch nearly as easy as some of the reviews are making out - just standard media hype yet again as there is every year.

They still did deliver ahead of their original estimate though so not all bad. Just that email getting my hopes up!
I see this too on my apple wallet. Couldn't see this transaction before. All looking good and nothing to worry about
But do you know for sure that they are coming from China? I rather think that Apple have re-called stock from mobile providers and are shipping them to customers like yourself. If that is the case, your status won't change until the phone is at the couriers depot.

Thanks for the reassurance on the JB, been worrying a bit have I made the right choice, but it's the JB that makes it more of an upgrade for me. Unfortunately I'm 4-10 October and it's not budging!!

True... I have had every iPhone except the "S" models (including the first none-3G one), never bothered with one of those. Had every single one on launch day up until the 5... then the 6 Plus missed it, and again with the 7.

So what do you think apple will announce at next months apple event ?
My thoughts are it'll be redesigned Macbook Pro's, Discontinuing / Redesigning the Macbook Air and Other Mac upgrades and might even announce the iOS 10.1 update with the Camera update for iPhone 7 Plus

Hope a MacBook Air upgrade, but I hope they do it properly. None of this single USB-C port nonsense like the 12" thing they did. I like my 11" Air, truly all day battery life... almost never take a power adapter with me if I'm just out for the day at customers sites... charge my phone/ipad in the car so i don't need to drain power from the laptop and I'm all good.
