iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Got my non-plus Jet Black 128GB from John Lewis store in Newcastle today (I was sceptical at first and even opened the shipping box at the counter to check it was indeed an iPhone and in Jet Black), so I've cancelled my order with Apple so someone should get a date bump :)

Whoever posted about the adding the 'bundle' to basket on the John Lewis website before they went on sale at 8am the next day - thank you very much for the heads up.

Just want to say if anyone is thinking about cancelling JB and going with matt then don't. The JB is fantastic and doesn't scratch nearly as easy as some of the reviews are making out - just standard media hype yet again as there is every year.

It should do, but they've taken it down in a different way than they did last night.

I'd guess maybe they're doing maintenance - maybe to bring the non-iPP reservation store online.

Me! And yes if this is from China it is cutting it super fine. It could already be in the country or on its way right now and we will only get tracking for the delivery to our doors from Syncreon's warehouse

I remember this, but they missed that Saturday and on live chat told us the email was an error and ended up delivering Monday for the vast majority :( including me!

Can only hear it when the screen is on. Quite loud when under a heavy load.

I picked up a rose gold plus on Friday. My Black is coming next week like many others here.

Having played with the phone I can't say im impressed. The dual camera really doesn't add anything. Its possible when the depth/bokka update is released it will be different but right now its not a benefit.

The performance is quicker but compared to a 6S+ there isn't much in it. I will keep the black phone because I want the latest iPhone but it's defiantly not as nice as my (exploding) Note 7 that I returned (in case it exploded).

I actually feel that I want JB more than ever now because it really makes it unique.

Same but still don't know when I'm getting my replacement from Samsung. And it looks like UK Mail have lost my old one. :(

Apple helpfully provide the data as one big blob which I process after i've captured it, so it's not like i'm checking each store and each model. I get the exact same snapshot of data that powers the reservation site.

The site went live between 06:01:03 and 06:01:16.

Firstly, really interesting data - thanks.

I have to admit - I have seen some odd caching on the reserve page, but it seems server side - and it comes and goes.

I know I saw what I saw, but as stated I didn't actually reserve anything. I'm glad at least someone else saw what I saw, but equally I get that plenty of people saw differently

I've already stated in that they promised to supply all the colours at the same time which they haven't, hence over promise.

And yes you do try and close down debate through the tone of your posts.

Sorry to burst the bubble to iPad fans but i personally think that the new iPad's will be out in march and might even see iPhone SE 2 ? it'd be cool if the SE had the iPhone 7 colour and design ?

its all a maybe, but ya I think iPad refresh have always been around March, but again everything is possible ;);):D:D

Their delivery expectations seem to be a lot more optimistic compared to Apple! I had multiple date options that I could have picked for my phone to be delivered - but went for Tuesday since that's the only time I'll be in the house.

Yeah, do wish it had tracking like Apple's website but i suppose people can't have everything
