iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

For those who asked what I ordered:
iPhone 7 (MB) 128GB and I ordered it on release day from CPW for delivery which was meant to be Tuesday and is now tomorrow.

Yeah mines still processing with no movement yet. I'm based in Kent. Hoping to see it move tomorrow
 
If people are trying to sell there 6s or any other phone should try gumtree my friend got £375 for his 6s 16gb gold a few days ago

O2 recycle is good too, £400 for 6s plus (don't have to be with o2 to use and don't have the hassle with people)

Hopefully our phones are already in the Uk and just waiting to be out for delivery. Here's hoping anyway
 
Certainly glad nothing bad happened when trying to preorder my iPhone 7 Plus as when i started my last iPhone the iPhone 6 Plus i first started with Phones4U but i preordered it from them and in less than a week they went bankrupt so i'm glad nothing like that happened again :) I did manage to get the iPhone 6 Plus at the beginning of october 2014 but it was just my luck

I messaged carphone warehouse and they told me this
"We've been told that the iPhone 7 Plus stock should arrive this week coming."

So fingers crossed !!

So I've now had the weekend with my 7plus Jet Black.....

I love it! I had originally ordered the Matt black (due to arrive this week) but having been in store on Friday and seen the Jet I regretted the original decision. Matt looks great also, but I just felt the Jet was that bit more special and made the phone at least look like it was even more different from the 6S. Luckily I managed to order one Friday afternoon from John Lewis and picked up yesterday.

In terms of scratching, I totally agree that this will happen on the Jet..... and would annoy the hell out of me!..... but either way I'm keeping in a case, and so whilst you might say colour is irrelevant then....... the Jet colour still shows through in the camera hole and around the lightning port/speakers.

In terms of the phone itself, I really like the new home button and the way Taptic Engine works in apps (e.g. When scrolling through drop down menus). The phone is also super fast! I compared side by side to a 6+ and just to open facebook there was a huge difference. Camera also seems as good as been billed but need to play with more.

Case wise I'm using the apple black silicone which I really like the feel of. My only complaint is that I wish it was a bit more black - as really its more of a charcoal grey. If I find a clear case I like I may get one of those too (got a spigen one but not so keen) as would like to show off the back a bit more.

I have also commented before re the Belkin Invisiglass ultra screen protector I had fitted in the Apple Store. This is fantastic. Have used so many different screen protectors before but the fit is the best I've seen, and the glass is really thin (significantly thinner than media devil I have always used before) so you really don't notice it at all on the phone. Expensive it is, but absolutely worth the money IMO.

Overall I'm really happy!

Yeah, I got the 7 jet black 128Gb. I came from a 6s Plus Space Grey 64Gb :) What did you end up getting? I was in a similar position last year, having ordered a 6s Plus Silver and I returned it and was planning to go for the 6s but I switched back to the 6s Plys Space Gray and loved it! I've moved back because the phone was a little awkward in public, found myself holding it out when I can't be bothered to 'fit' it back into my pocket. (Sitting down with jeans on etc was a bit annoying)

What do you guys think the stocks for pluses will be like in the morning? More on Tuesday you think?

Great, thanks. I wanted the 6s Plus last year but settled with the normal 6s and sorta regretted it since, and I thought this time I'd make the leap and give it a go (pricer than I expected) but I have a case and all that so any accidental drops shouldn't do any damage (I hope haha).

Exactly that! The plus is a great phone and great to use indoors... however yes I felt slightly embarrassed to use it out and about! It isn't too portable so for that reason and my poor hands I went back to the standard and no regrets!! Just cant wait to go try these Airpods now!
